There’s a pile of Zucchini under there too. This is a daily haul out of the field now. Sundays end up with some for the chickens too. The fruit is too small Friday afternoon and a baseball bat Sunday morning. Such is Zucchini life.

Farmer husband asks farmer wife to get chicken food in Morehead City. TS employee sees farmer wife eyeballing the baby chicks and says, "They are only $1.00 each." Farmer wife says, "I told my husband we are taking a break from raising baby chicks this year." TS employee says just ask for forgiveness later. 😅 Here's to another year of baby chirps keeping me up at night and feathers all over my living room. 🤣
