American Legion Post 149 Hanover, MA

Hello Members & Friends, we will be replacing flags at the Hanover Main Cemetery between Silver Street and Main Street on Saturday May 24th at 9:00AM in the morning. We are looking for volunteers to replace flags for the more than 700 Veterans buried at the cemetery. Frank Murphy will be parked at the office close to Main Street at the top of the hill. He will have maps and flags to pass out. Any torn flags collected can be disposed of in one of the many 5 gallon buckets situated around the cemetery which will be retrieved after completion of replacement. Anyone volunteering be sure to call or text Frank at (339) 788-0193 and leave a message so we will have an idea of how many volunteers we have.

A cash donation was made by one of our group members to The Veteran’s Services Gift account. If an individual or business would like to make a donation, please feel free to ask how! All money donated is direct impact to the Veteran Community in Hanover. It is used for those in financial crisis that need help paying for food, utilities, rent, etc…. .
