PetSmart is looking for an energetic, people-focused Experience Leader (ELR) to help create an exceptional experience for both our customers and associates. In this leadership role, you’ll guide daily store operations, support your team, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for pets and pet parents alike.
What You’ll Do
• Lead and coach associates to deliver outstanding customer service and a positive in-store experience.
• Act as Leader on Duty—overseeing daily operations, delegating tasks, and ensuring store standards are met.
• Handle escalated customer concerns with care and professionalism.
• Support associate development through training, coaching, feedback, and recognition.
• Maintain a safe environment for pets, pet parents, and associates by enforcing safety policies and responding to incidents.
• Oversee in-store services such as the Salon or Pet Hotel (as applicable), including providing hands-on support when needed.
• Support front-end operations and help the store meet financial goals by focusing on sales, shrink, and expense management.
• Ensure inventory tools and processes are followed to keep products in stock and ready for customers.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on retail environment.
• Experience in retail, customer service, or team leadership preferred.
