🐾🎃 Wednesdays with Wally: Halloween Safety Tips! 🎃🐾

Howdy, pawdners! Sheriff Wally here, keepin’ the peace this Halloween 👮‍♂️🐶. I may look ruff and tough, but I’m here to protect all my furry friends from spooky scares and sticky situations!

Here are my top Halloween safety tips for pets:
1. Keep the candy out of reach! Chocolate and xylitol (found in sugar-free treats) can be paw-sitively dangerous for pets.
2. Watch those decorations! Pumpkins with candles or electrical cords can cause burns or shocks if we get too curious.
3. Costume comfort first! If your pet’s outfit is too tight, heavy, or itchy, it’s best to go without. We want happy tails, not grumpy growls!
4. Door duty danger! With all those trick-or-treaters coming and going, pets can slip out unnoticed. Keep us in a quiet, secure room during peak candy hours.
5. Keep it fun! A few photos and extra treats (the safe kind!) make for a howlin’ good night.
Stay safe, stay spooky, and remember — Sheriff Wally’s always on patrol! 🐾

�After months of rest and recovery, Wally’s officially finished exercise restrictions for his heartworm treatment and is ready to get back to his zoomies, fetch, and neighborhood adventures! 🐶💙

Heartworm disease is serious, he’ll be retested in 3 months to ensure he’s clear of heartworms— remember it’s completely preventable. Regular prevention keeps tails wagging and paws moving all year long.

Wally says: “Take it from me… stay on your prevention so you never have to give up your zoomies!”
