Our 4-acre farm is located in west Gunnison, on the valley floor, about 1,800 feet east of the Gunnison River. The soils are mapped by the NRCS as Fola cobbly sandy loam and include predominantly clay loam and silt loam

We continually work to naturally amend and nurture our soils for the best sustainable yields.

Grateful to Rocky Mountain Farmers Union (RMFU) for a $5,000 grant to continue our no-till regenerative farming practices. We found out on Christmas Eve! The grant will fund new larger wheels for our BCS walking tractor, a power harrow to shape the sides of our beds (without tilling or disturbing the beds themselves), a tilther (which prepares the seed bed in the upper 1-inch of soil without disturbing the worms and soil microbes below), and new tarps to shade out weeds without using any chemicals or disturbing the soil...
We are so thankful that the world is waking up to the benefits of regenerative agriculture! Thank you to RMFU and everyone who supports our farm.
