October Glory Acres LLC October Glory is the ideal home for your equine partner to rest and enjoy the good life! The owner, Rebecca, lives on-site with years of equine experience.

Barn features large stalls, multiple tack rooms, wash stall, grooming stalls, laundry room, restroom, lounge and is attached to a fully insulated 80' x 180' indoor arena. Farm features 130 acres of trails, round pen access and many safe paddocks for private or semi-private turnout. All breeds/disciplines welcome! ADVANCED EQUINE EMERGENCY FIRST AID COURSE with instructor, Vickie Maraglio, hosted here at OGA.

🔜 SATURDAY, JUNE 6TH

This is a one day (approximately 8 hours) training for those who took the foundation first aid class OR who are more experienced horse people. The class is $189 for the day and includes a course manual and certificate. There will be "classroom" time AND hands- on scenario practice with real horses.

I have hosted the foundation class in the past and it was very informative as Vickie is great instructor.

SADDLE FITTER, Beth Rera from New Jersey will be at the barn Monday June 1 if anyone is interested....

In 2011 Beth trained with Master saddlers association where she learned how to assess and understand anatomy, gait analysis, static saddle fit, dynamic saddle fit, flocking and the ability to analyze fitting problems and make corrections. Collaborates with chiropractors, trainers, veterinarians and clients to ensure the best possible outcome. Her goal is to provide a service that allows the rider to remain balanced and comfortable while providing the horse an optimum fit allowing him to move freely and efficiently under saddle.

SERVICES:
Adjustment $200
on site maintenance and adjustments can be made to wool flocked saddles. Pads and shims can be recommended to ensure a more optimum fit.

Evaluation $100
Beth will evaluate any make or model saddle you currently own statically and dynamically making any recommendations necessary to improve the overall fit of the existing saddle.

FULL CARE BOARD in Guilford, NY
The barn features large, matted stalls; grooming stalls; hot/cold wash stall, multiple tack rooms, restroom and a lounge with fridge & microwave. The main barn is attached to an insulated 80' x 180' indoor arena with updated footing and a blue tooth stereo system The farm consists of 150 acres with fun (and some challenging) trails, wildlife and a beautiful pond.

Horses are turned out in pairs, fed grain 2x/day and hay 3x/day, if not on sufficient grass. Stalls are cleaned daily of course. The owner lives on premises and is a certified Equine Sports Massage Therapist. Experienced handlers care for the animals daily. There are routine appointments with excellent health care professionals such as a farrier, vet, dentist, chiropractor, MagnaWave and massage therapists. The herd is also on a parasite management program (f***l testing and deworming) which is included in the board.

The facility is very quiet, drama free and welcomes all breeds and disciplines. Events such as clinics (of all sorts), lessons and the annual tack swap are great opportunities to meet new people and learn with your equine partner. 💞
