FULL CARE BOARD in Guilford, NY
The barn features large, matted stalls; grooming stalls; hot/cold wash stall, multiple tack rooms, restroom and a lounge with fridge & microwave. The main barn is attached to an insulated 80' x 180' indoor arena with updated footing and a blue tooth stereo system The farm consists of 150 acres with fun (and some challenging) trails, wildlife and a beautiful pond.
Horses are turned out in pairs, fed grain 2x/day and hay 3x/day, if not on sufficient grass. Stalls are cleaned daily of course. The owner lives on premises and is a certified Equine Sports Massage Therapist. Experienced horsemen (women) handle/care for the animals daily. There are routine appointments with excellent health care professionals such as a farrier, vet, dentist, chiropractor, MagnaWave and massage therapists. The herd is also on a parasite management program (f***l testing and deworming) which is included in the board.
The facility is very quiet, drama free and welcomes all breeds and disciplines. Events such as clinics (of all sorts), lessons and the annual tack swap are great opportunities to meet new people and learn with your equine partner. 💞
