Today we ventured to mason city show and what a wonderful it was for us we picked up right where we left off from central city, rock and roll's hera picked up a best of breed in Californians then goes on to win best 6 class and best in show again this 3 in a row for this girl! In mini rex we have some BOV AND BOG and same with Netherland dwarfs, Netherlands were a little rough because they are currently starting to molt.

Show B Smokin Roses scorpio took best opposite of breed for mini rex but our co breeding SRQB's Phat tina stole the show for honorable mention at 10 weeks old this girl has major promise and we cant wait to watch her grow! For Californians hera took best of breed again and Zeus took best opposite of breed!

Special mini rex was special for us! Our homegrown tort senior doe took best of breed and stan the man took best opposite!

Hera finally got dethroned on the best 6 table for show B by a beautiful new Zealand

We traveled to Central City Iowa this morning for the June jumblee show and it was just Bentley riding solo as Quinnlyn was at cheer camp. Highlights were under Mini Rex Show A RECS Stanley winning best opposite of breed under Rich, Show A in Netherlands we had a few BOV & BOG Show A for Californians Rock n rolls hera was best of breed and klouse's Zeus was best opposite of breed, hera went on to win best 6 class the best in show for show A!

Show B for Mini rex smokin roses scorpio was best opposite of breed the for Netherlands our very own beer belly was best of breed, the for Californians it was rock n rolls hera again winning best of breed and best 6 class and best in show!

We picked up a pair of Californians for a 4H project to breed them for meat pens and we decided to show them in arba shows and load and behold after the kids have done all the research and studies and picking the buns out all by themselves with help from mentors they are doing really well :)

Today we showed at colfax iowa, we had a very successful showing we are just starting to get into 6 class with Californians for our county fair, Netherlands dwarf we picked up some bovs and bogs, mini rex show A we won best opposite of breed with smokin Rose's scorpio who we have use quite a bit in our program with co breedings our Californian swept the breed in show A with hera taking best and Zeus taking opposite of breed show B smokin roses scorpio took best of breed and smokin roses horoscope (scorpio's daughter) got best opposite of breed, the Californian swept the breed again but the switched Zeus was best hera was opposite but wait! We aren't done! Scorpio got best 4 class for show B then Zeus got best 6 class for show B they went against each other for best in show with scorpio winning we are still on riding the high :) what a fun filled day

We have a very promising black otter doe (Cedar River's Heaven x SR's GC Eligible Rowling) and a castor buck (MR's Willie Nelson x Ringer's June Carter Cash) growing out that were born in early March.

Cedar River's GC Hazel 3.0 (Black) x REC's Not Your Mother's GC Eligible Stanley (black otter) have a black and black otter in the box. These are our first viable Stanley babies and we are beyond excited to see them grow.

Charm Farm's Izzy (chestnut) x Starr's Steelin Time (Steel) have a lone steel kit in the box. Our first viable steel baby and we love it!

QB's Mississippi (Chestnut) x Starr's Steelin Time (steel) have a steel and a chestnut in the box.

Charm Farm's Noel (broken blue) x Charm Farm's Duke (blue) have 4! One blue, one broken blue (Charlie), and 2 REW.

QB's Liberty Bell (Himi) x QB's GC Thunc (Himi) have 3. All himis. One is a peanut.

A lot of the ones on this list are first time mamas so we will see how it all goes.

The next round of breeding is already in the works. Excited for what's to come :-)

Spring has sprung. New litters are set to arrive. Grow outs are growing. And cages are full. This means we have some buns looking to hop!

Current sweep points have been posted. Points are accumulated thru June 30 for this year. Below are the kids current points. They have both put in a ton of work in the last year really working on herd improvement and we love seeing their hard work pay off. It's also exciting to see some of our best rabbit friends up there in the top with us!
