Specializing in advanced obedience and behavior modification. Do you want your dog to sit and wait to go outside without bolting?

At Professional Pups Dog Training, we want you and your dog to have a relationship built on trust and respect. Do you want your dog to not jump on guests coming into your house? As an obedience foundation is built, your dog will learn to look to you if they are confused or unsure about something. They will not be forced to guess if something is right or wrong. You will be taught how to guide them to the right decision. As an owner it is up to you to make the commitment to create this relationship. A Professional Pup may not be made overnight, but having a dog you can trust and who trusts you is worth the wait.

Lenny is completing a short refresher this week to continue building his confidence and neutrality around his triggers! He’s an interesting mix of breeds which have traits that can clash at times including sensitivity to spatial pressure and defensiveness. With confidence building, advocating for Lenny’s preferences, and consistent guidance at home, this boy will be on track to show the world his sweet personality! 🍁

Finn is back for a refresher this week! He’s continuing working through reactivity towards dogs, kids, and men along with creating more boundaries and understanding of how to respect and share space with those in the house. We’re thrilled to have him back and are happy to see his owners continuing his training! 🖤

Rose (Myles’ sister) completed training with us years ago! After Myles finished up his training, his owners decided a little refresher wouldn’t be a bad idea for Rose to get her back on track with her brother. We’re working on confidence building, recall, and solutions for fence fighting with neighbor dogs. She’s a very sweet, sensitive girl who just needs some reminders to trust her humans! 🌹❤️

Scooby is what they call a “Mini Hippo” which is a mix of Shar-pei and Cocker Spaniel! He is a sweet young pup but hasn’t figured out how to live mannerly with humans. He’s working on leash manners, jumping, whining and overall learning how to co-exist politely with his owners and new friends he meets. He’s figuring things out quick and we’re excited to see how he does at home! 🧡🦛
