Client pet of the week!

Pebbles is an 11 year old Norwegian Elkhound. I've had her since she was 3 months old. She is an AKC Champion and has also done Obedience, Agility, Barnhunt, Fast Cat and Scentwork. She has titles in all of them. I think her favorite sport is Scentwork. She really loves using her nose! She is also a retired Therapy Dog. She loved going to the library where the kids would read to her. She also shares our home with Diesel and her new little brother Stosh!

Client pet of the week!

Meet our tiny goofball, Thrash Bandicoot! Equal parts cuddle expert, acrobat, and professional bug catcher. Thrash loves basking in the sunshine with his GSD sister, Azula. When he’s not showing off his impressive moves, he’s happily curled up in our laps, purring away.

-Halloween
-eating ants and trying to catch Dragonflies
-staring at his automatic feeder for an hour before it goes off!

Client pet of the week!

These inseparable Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are Lillie Lou (aka Lilou,) 10 months old, and Macie Mae 5 months old. They love napping & wrestling with each other, going for walks at home in GPP or along the trails in Northern MI, and of course eating their favorite foods: currently chicken & blueberries, although they have sampled almost every treat out there and their favorites are the Trader Joe’s Chicken Chips. These two love giving and receiving lots of attention & love so when you see them at Platz or in the neighborhood please say hello to them, they will melt your heart.

Client pet of the week!

Stewart is an approx. 9 year old rescue, found on the streets of Detroit, who we rescued from Midwest Small Breed Rescues 2 years ago and he adapted immediately to our home.

Stewart is a silly boy who loves to go for walks, come to the office with me, go for car rides and play with his blanket. He also loves to go boating and seems like he's been a boater all his life.

Whenever there is a group conversation going on, Stewart joins in with well timed barks, like he knows what he's talking about.

Every night at 10pm he barks and tries to lead us to the stairs to let us know he is ready for bed, whether we are or not.

We don't know his back story, or understand how he could end up on the streets because he is so sweet, and we feel so lucky to have him!

Staff pet of the week!

Meet Lucky Bear! Lucky belongs to one of our veterinary assistants, Aidan. Lucky just turned four and is an AKC Therapy dog who visits Beaumont Grosse Pointe Hospital and Grosse Pointe Woods Library. Lucky also has his novice, intermediate and advanced AKC Trick Dog certification. Lucky loves to eat (pretty much anything), loves car rides and is always ready for a cuddle.

Client pet of the week!

Judy Hopps was found as a stray on the west side of Detroit, missing part of her right front leg. The incredible team at Michigan Humane made the decision to amputate her leg, giving her the opportunity to live a happy, healthy life.
Since we adopted Judy, she's been doing exactly that! She loves spending time in the backyard, whether she's playing fetch or relaxing in the shade. Being outside is one of her favorite things.
Our little Miss Judy Hopps also celebrated her first birthday on July 9, making this past year even more special!

Staff pet of the week!

Indigo!
Indigo is owned by one of our assistants, Lizzy. She’s a 4 year old Doberman who absolutely loves her ball. She’ll always have at least one with her. She loves her family and is always by my side. Her favorite treats are frozen carrots and pumpkin!
