Macomb County, it’s about to get scorching out there — and it’s not just uncomfortable, it’s dangerous.

🐾 Reminder: Leaving pets in hot cars? A HUGE NO!!!!!

❗ Even with the windows cracked, temps inside a vehicle can skyrocket to deadly levels in minutes. Heatstroke can kill in under 15 minutes!

🌞 Leaving pets outside without shade or water? NOT OKAY!!!!
Dogs, cats, livestock — they all suffer in this heat. They can’t turn on a fan or grab a cold drink. That’s your job.

🐮 Yes, livestock too! Make sure all animals have shelter, ventilation, and clean water — around the clock.

⚠️ This isn’t just a “be nice” thing — it’s the LAW.
Animal neglect in extreme heat is a punishable offense.
See something? Say something. Contact your local Police Department immediately.
