Sugar is coming up on one month in the shelter! This is not an anniversary we want to celebrate. She is doing well with it and is the easiest dog we’ve had in some time. Everyone loves her. Please share Sugar! She is ten years old, healthy, spayed, current on vaccinations, adoption sponsored, no special needs! Just your love and care. She loves car rides, no separation anxiety, enjoys walks, has lived with cats no issues, loves to watch tv or read a book with you. Sugar is 65 pounds and will tug on the leash if she sees another dog (doesn’t meet dogs well) or if you’re headed to the car for a ride, but is otherwise super easy on leash walks. Sugar has been at the shelter a few weeks now with no inquiries. She is a big snuggler and loves to go on walks and roll in the grass. Healthy and current on all vet work. Our volunteers love her! Reminder: The animal shelter is open tonight, Thursdays, from 5:30pm to 6:30 pm to the public. If you’re interested in meeting adoptable cats and dogs, come see volunteers Riley and Nancy. Hoping everyone had a nice holiday weekend! We are excited to announce the shelter will be open to the public starting this Thursday evening from 5:30pm til 6:30pm. Appointments during the week before 2pm daily are available by calling or texting 734-552-7436. We have cats and currently one sweet older dog available for adoption.
