This Friday Sept 5 @ 10AM, come experience the healing power of horses 💞 A meaningful and fun filled morning designed for all ages and all abilities. Designed to help with anxiety, communication, and self esteem - our PATH certified instructor will assist each participant with motor skill and confidence building techniques on horseback. On the ground, participants will find healing and reflection with gentle sensory grooming and learning stations.

We hosted our first therapeutic riding camp yesterday alongside participants from the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America of the Upstate 🩷

Our riders spent the day building confidence, learning new skills, and experiencing the incredible bond between horse and human. From gentle grooming to riding sessions, we watched so many smiles, breakthroughs, and moments of pure joy. ✨

A huge thank you to our amazing volunteers, instructors, and of course our four-legged partners who make this all possible. 🐎💕

We like other colors but, pink just looks so good on us 🩷🎶 Hi Barbie! 👋 This doll had the most fabulous time with us this weekend for our end of year bash! Barbie traded in her dream house for a day at Sassy Stables, and everyone came dressed to impress, especially Luna! 🐴✨

Our Story

Welcome to Sassy Stables! We are a small family owned stable in Greer, right in the heart of Greenville County, South Carolina. We specialize in custom riding experiences for children, beginners and experienced equestrians. We are a unique facility, offering only one-on-one riding experiences in a very laid back and fun hands on learning environment. Owner and instructor, Kristin Ahlum has been running this unique and fulfilling business for over ten years now. We are proud to call Greer our permanent location and home, on 5 acres of picturesque acres with magnificent mountain views. During your visit you’ll be greeted by our beautiful and friendly horses, which we use in our unique riding program. We also offer birthday parties, photography packages, and much more!
