Spend time with the people who challenge you.

Spend time with the people who challenge you.

⚠️ The people in your circle shape your standards.

Spend time with those who challenge you, and you’ll rise.

Surround yourself with those who settle, and you’ll shrink without realizing it.

Energy is contagious, so is mediocrity.

If your goals feel too big for your current crowd, it’s a sign to level up your environment.

Your habits, your thoughts, and your decisions are all influenced by what’s normal around you.

So choose wisely.

Be around people who make growth feel natural, not awkward.

Who you hang with now determines where you end up later.

You don’t need to cut everyone off, just be intentional about who you let influence your journey.

Your future depends on it.👀🔥

You don’t need to think you’re perfect. You don’t need to convince yourself you deserved to win when you didn’t. But you do need to believe that you can. 💪🏽✨

That belief, even when the ribbon says otherwise, isn’t arrogance. It’s discipline. It’s what keeps you from collapsing under the weight of one bad class or one off moment. It’s how real competitors stay in the game long enough to become great. 🏆

Delusional confidence isn’t about denying mistakes.
It’s about refusing to let those mistakes define you. 🧠🔥

If you want to get better, here’s one way to train that belief muscle:

Start talking to yourself like someone you coach.
When things go wrong, ditch the sarcasm and self-loathing. Replace it with what you’d say to a rider you actually wanted to improve.
📣 “We’re not there yet, but this is how we get there.”
📣 “That mistake doesn’t mean you’re not good. It means we’ve got work to do.”

That inner voice matters more than talent. And definitely than anyone else’s opinion. 🗣️🐴

You don’t need external permission to ride like a winner.
You just need to decide you’re done riding like anything less. 🚀

What do we do when we don’t have anyone showing in the evening session? Finish working the horses then have some fun! Lily and Cassidy got to see the Natural Bridge and enjoy some time outside of the barn. It was a fun night!

Always, always pat your horse. 🐴💖
No matter the ride.
No matter the ribbon.
No matter what the judge did or didn’t see. 👀

Because your horse showed up for you.
Because they don’t know the score.
Because they’re not here for the trophy, they’re here for you. 🏆❤️

The connection matters.
The gratitude matters.
Loving the horse more than the sport always matters. 🙏

From center ring, we notice the riders who stay connected. Who reach down in the lineup and say thank you. Who don’t let a disappointing result erase the effort their horse gave.

Those are the riders you remember — in the best way!🌟

Did you know?

“Keep going.”

“Keep going.”

Athlete: Coach, I feel stuck. I’ve been training for weeks and I don’t see any real improvement. What am I doing wrong?

Coach: Probably nothing. You're just in the middle.

Athlete: The middle?

Coach: The part where progress feels invisible. Where work piles up, but results stay quiet.

Athlete: So what do I do?

Coach: Keep going.

Athlete: That’s it?

Coach: That’s everything. Most people quit in the middle not because it’s hard, but because it’s quiet.

Athlete: But what if I never see progress?

Coach: You will. But not when you expect it. The body adapts slowly. The mind even slower. Think of it like water dripping on stone it looks like nothing, until one day, there's a groove.

Athlete: It just feels like I’m spinning my wheels.

Coach: That’s how every champion feels right before the breakthrough. Every run, every set, every choice it compounds. Just because you can’t see it, doesn’t mean it’s not working.

Athlete: So I just trust the process?

Coach: Trust yourself. Consistency is the real miracle. Anyone can show up once. Few show up daily.

Athlete: What if I don’t have what it takes?

Coach: You don’t have to have it. You build it run by run, day by day.
