No Cups? No Water Bottles? NO PROBLEM! 🥤🚫

If you thought Monday's Crazy Sock Day was entertaining, just wait until you see what we got ourselves into on Tuesday!

Day TWO of our FurWell-style Vet Tech Week celebration brought us one very important challenge:

"Drink From Anything BUT a Water Bottle or Cup Day!"🤣

And let's just say... our teams understood the assignment!

From rubber ducks and baby bottles to some VERY questionable beverage containers, the creativity was flowing almost as freely as the water out of strange objects.

Across all three of our locations, FurWell Veterinary Hospital in Greer, FurWell at Barkingham, and Vet Near Me in Downtown Greenville , we've been finding fun ways to break up our busy days, share some laughs, and celebrate the incredible people who keep our clinics running.

Because veterinary medicine can be stressful, emotional, and downright exhausting some days. Taking a little time to laugh together, be ridiculous, and enjoy each other's company is just one of the ways we keep our FurWell Team smiling.

And judging by these pictures, we might have taken this particular challenge a little TOO seriously!

Crazy Socks, Big Laughs & a Little FurWell Fun!

If you know anything about FurWell, you know we like to do things a little differently around here!

While most veterinary practices celebrated National Veterinary Technician Week last week, we decided to keep the celebration going and do it OUR way this week!

We've been having a blast stepping away from our usual routines (just a little!) to share some laughs, get a little silly, and celebrate the incredible people who make FurWell such a special place to work.

First up: MONDAY'S CRAZY SOCK DAY!🧦

Our team kicked off the week by putting their best (and most ridiculous) feet forward! From wild patterns to downright hilarious socks, there was no shortage of personality on display.

Because while we take caring for your pets very seriously, we definitely don't take ourselves too seriously!

Meet Poppy, a ridiculously handsome, extra-fluffy gentleman who stole the hearts of Kayle and Meaghan during his visit today!

According to these two, Poppy is officially THE BESTEST BOY, and judging by the snuggles, kisses, and general willingness to be treated like royalty, the rest of us were inclined to agree!

Poppy, thank you for making our day a little fluffier and a whole lot sweeter!

Behind that smile is a veterinarian who believes great care starts with genuine relationships!

We're continuing our introduction of Dr. Sophia Rybolt, who will be joining the FurWell team on November 2nd!

After spending the past year in urgent care and emergency medicine, Dr. Rybolt is excited to return to general practice, where she can focus on preventative care, get to know her patients and their families, and build relationships that last for years.

One thing that really stood out to us about Dr. Rybolt is her philosophy on veterinary medicine. She believes every pet parent who walks through the door is there because they love their pet and want what's best for them.

As veterinary professionals, we wouldn't be doing our jobs if we avoided these conversations simply because they're uncomfortable.

Today is National Pet Obesity Awareness Day, and we're talking about a subject that can be sensitive for pet parents: their pet's weight.

We get it. You love your pet, you want them to be happy, and hearing that they may be carrying extra weight isn't always easy.

But here's what we want you to know: When your veterinarian brings up your pet's weight, it's never coming from a place of judgment. It's coming from a place of advocacy. 💙

Excess weight can affect far more than appearance. It can contribute to joint discomfort, reduced mobility, diabetes, and other health concerns that impact your pet's quality of life.

Every Batman needs a trusty sidekick!

Batman had a veterinary appointment today, but apparently his brother Noodle wasn't about to let him face it alone.

Enter Noodle: Professional Emotional Support Housemate.

No appointment of his own. No medical degree. Absolutely ZERO intention of leaving his brother unsupervised.

His responsibilities included closely monitoring the exam, providing moral support, and making sure our veterinary team understood that Batman is clearly very important to him.

And judging by that first photo, Noodle takes his job EXTREMELY seriously. 😂

We love a good sibling support system, especially when it comes with four paws and a very serious little face! ❤️🐾
