‼️Not a huge bill, but another bill just the same…

Sweet little Encore decided that healing neck was itchy and he scratched it too hard yesterday popping some sutures 🫣

Luckily his wonderful foster mom was able to run him over to Holly Tree Animal Hospital and they fixed him up!

Even if it’s just a dollar or two, any amount is GREATLY appreciated! Our bill is outta control, even paying $1000 a week. EVERYONE has needed all the things lately and it’s making life a bit hard for us 😩😩😩

🍹 Last call for the Cocktail Crew! Meet SPRITZ! 🐱

Six months old, six pounds, and absolutely ZERO respect for personal space. 😂

Spritz is the last of our Cocktail Crew still waiting for her forever home, and we cannot figure out HOW!

This gorgeous gray girl is a certified Stage 5 Clinger. Going to the bathroom? She’s coming. Sitting on the couch? Your lap is now occupied. Trying to do something without her? Absolutely not.

She’s sweet, playful, ridiculously affectionate, and loves dogs, cats, and kids!

Spritz would love a home with another furry friend or someone who’s home often enough to appreciate her full-time supervision.

Meet Bindi! 🐾

8 months old, 35 pounds, and basically a toddler with four legs and a brindle coat. 😂

Bindi gets hangry, fights naps, has serious FOMO, and has absolutely no idea why everyone can’t keep up with her.

She’s smart as heck, loves walks, sniffing everything in sight, playing with other dogs, and keeping her humans entertained. She’s a little barky, a little sparky, and has enough personality for three dogs.

She’s crate trained, potty trained, leash trained, and working hard on learning to settle. She does well with dogs and kids and has previously lived with a cat. Meals and high-value chews should be given separately.

Bindi needs a fenced yard or a VERY active human who appreciates a dog with opinions. Lots of them. 😂

Timmy is 6 months old, unemployed, still lives with his foster mom, and somehow already looks like he’s been drinking at this brewery for 30 years.

💚 The man loved a pit bull almost as much as we do.

This Five Dollar Friday, I want to honor the man, the legend, the advocate — Sir Patrick Stewart. A man I already adored, but when he started fostering pit bulls and showing the world just how incredible these dogs are, my heart grew about 17 sizes. ❤️

The past 2 weeks alone, we’ve had over 20 spays and neuters, a dozen dentals at OVER $1000 a piece (not exaggerating), countless vet appointments, and dogs saved that we haven’t even had time to introduce.

And that’s rescue. For every ONE thing we post, there are 27 others happening behind the scenes.

We’re exhausted. We’re juggling families, jobs, our own animals, and a rescue that never clocks out. So to everyone who gives us grace, patience, and kindness when we can’t answer an email in 24 hours — THANK YOU.
We’re human, and we’re trying our absolute best.

Today, let’s be a little kinder, a little more patient, and give a little more.
