Bruno has two new tricks that he wants to show everyone. The first one is "whisper" which I am doing because he is having difficulty with barking at dogs on the TV. The second one is pushing the ball into the soccer goal. He's really become quite good at moving it in a specific direction.

Willa loves our weekly socialization/training sessions, and she has been making so much progress! I choose a new activity each week to challenge her and to help with some social anxiety. We have gone to stores, parks, restaurants, hiking trails, downtown, played with children, and spent time with other dogs. We are doing Christmas photos of dogs and their families at Pet Wants Greenville North in Taylors on December 14 from 10:00-12:00. We have lots of great Christmas props and there will be some yummy treats for your pups as well. The cost is $25 which includes one printed photo card and up to five photos that will be sent by email for you to use as you wish. Please, teach your children how to properly greet a dog! It will help keep your child and the dog safe. I see people doing this the wrong way all of the time and then they wonder why the dog has a negative reaction toward them. Also, for dog owners, don’t be afraid to correct people when they are not approaching your dog in the right way. By the way, there is no reason that your dog should like everyone they meet. If they are telling you that they are uncomfortable, just walk away.

Dog Trainer

I have always loved dogs and have had them in my home since I was a young child. I have had anywhere from two to five dogs living with me in the past 15 years and most of them I have raised from a puppy. I always start training them very early with basic behavior skills and work with them on socialization skills as well. I am also accustomed to managing the needs of multiple dogs in my home and making sure they all get equal attention. I previously worked with a non-profit that trains service dogs for children who have been diagnosed with Autism, as well as dogs to assist individuals with mobility needs. I recently decided to start doing the training and boarding as on official business. I would love to help you to train your “furry children” or take care of them when you are away from home.
