Losing a dog never is easy, even when they're 15 and 16.

Duke spent his retirement with us. With Bruce Koonce, Duke had countless miles through the woods and "ba-wooed" up many trees. He'd run through barbed wire to track, and survived more than one snake bite. He never stopped talking or wagging his tail.

Tank was a rescue Linwood saved to re-home. Turned out he was home that same day. Tank and Winston would swim for hours chasing an elusive beaver. They tag-teamed, and though they never caught it, they both were in amazing shape that summer.

Tree'em up, Duke.

May you and Winston finally catch that ole' beaver, Tank.

Rest easy, boys. You are missed.
