Our trainers Annissia, Alyssa and David are currently attending the IACP Conference in Savannah, GA. IACP stands for International Association of Canine Professionals. At Cultured Canine we are endlessly committed to continuing education, and learning how to even better expand our relationships with our dogs and clients alike. We are devoted to constantly learning as training is ever evolving. Our assistant trainers and kennel staff are working to keep all Cultured pups trained, happy, healthy and comfy in our absence! We can’t wait to bring back what we’ve learned and utilize it to better serve all of our cultured pups and crew!

Important announcement!

Annissia is being deployed to Texas to help with search efforts due to the catastrophic flooding that has occurred there. Because of this, we ask that you please be patient with us. We will be slower in our responses and updates. We also may need to reach out to people to reschedule some things. We thank you for your understanding!

⭐️Meet The Crew Monday⭐️

Meet Annissia!
Annissia is co/owner and trainer here at Cultured. She started her career training dogs in 2016 as an assistant dog trainer at a local obedience school.

In 2019 she joined a local SAR team in central North Carolina and started work with her first live find K9, a Belgian Malinois, Willow. She then went on to certify her second K9, Dahlia for Human Remains Detection. Annissia joined the North Carolina Troopers Association K9 Unit in 2022, and has since become the Director of the team. She manages all primary operations of the team as well as managing all training. Annissia enjoys putting together training plans for the SAR team, helping instruct others, and watching them succeed.

Cultured Canine is where Annissia trains a variety of dogs for obedience, therapy, service work, and reactivity. Anybody that knows Annissia knows that there is nobody more passionate about training dogs. She has made it her mission to help people find an easier way to communicate with their dogs, understand how dogs think, and build unbreakable bonds that last a lifetime. Mentoring is also very important to her. She loves educating not only clients but the Cultured staff as well. It’s very important that she teaches staff to be the best handlers that they can possibly be!
