The state of Tennessee stray hold time is 72 hours. Our local animal control holds strays for 5 days to allow more time to find owners or rescues or adoptions. Relinquished animals can be euthanized immediately but our animal control does ho

ld IF POSSIBLE for volunteers to network. Animals are euthanized if feral or deemed to have health issues or aggression. Animals that show signs of aggression are not considered adoptable. Hours are 8 to 4 Monday to Friday
