After seven wonderful years, our sweet boy Wicket is officially stepping into retirement! 💛 He has been an amazing part of our program—passing on his gentle nature, loyalty, and those signature doodle good looks to so many of our puppies.

Wicket is 7 years old now and still full of love and life. He hasn’t been neutered yet, but we’re working on getting his appointment scheduled soon.

As he moves into this next chapter, Wicket will be looking for a loving forever home to enjoy his retirement. He’ll be ready to go to his new family later this summer. 🏡💕

We’re so grateful for the role he’s played in building our lines and making so many families happy. Thank you, Wicket, for all the cuddles, companionship, and charisma you’ve brought to Autumnville Doodles! 🐶

7 Weird but True Facts About Goldendoodles

Because our fluffy friends are full of surprises!

1. They smile — for real.
That goofy grin? It's not your imagination. Many Goldendoodles have super expressive faces that look like they're literally smiling.

2. They stay looking like puppies.
With their teddy bear faces and soft curls, most Goldendoodles keep that "forever young" vibe well into their senior years.

3. They're way too smart sometimes.
Thanks to their Poodle genes, many Goldendoodles can learn 200+ words, open cabinets, and even figure out how to get their humans to do their bidding.

4. They feel everything.
These dogs are emotional sponges. If you're sad, they're glued to your side. If there's tension, they might hide under a blanket. True empath energy.

5. They talk back.
Not bark — talk. Some Goldendoodles have a whole vocabulary of woo-woos, hums, and dramatic sighs that sound suspiciously like sass.

They're here!

At 5 a.m. this morning, our beautiful girl Eevee welcomed 5 tiny, precious Micro Goldendoodles into the world!

She did an incredible job and is already being such a gentle, loving mama as usual. The puppies are healthy, squirmy, and absolutely perfect—we’re already in love.

We don’t know how many boys and girls yet, but what we do know is that these babies are going to be something special.

Welcome to the world, little ones. Your journey has just begun, and we’re so excited to watch you grow!
