This introduction is a little more bittersweet than usual & we are so thankful for the outcome that the Lord blessed us with๐ฅน๐
Sunday the 26th, Becca welcomed her beautiful babies into the world! They were all healthy & so was she, until suddenly Sunday evening she wasnโt anymore. We rushed her to our amazing Vet who met us quickly and performed emergency surgery on her. She had a pr*****ed uterus and lost a lot of blood. Thankfully, we got there quick enough & she was able to make a full recovery!!๐ We bottle fed all the babies every 2 hours while she was gone. The next day she was able to come home and immediately resumed her role in feeding them! We were nervous about her being able to feed them but she went right to them and laid down the minute she got back. Theyโre gaining weight beautifully so I am excited to now introduce them!
Becca had to be spayed during surgery so sadly, this will be her last litter๐ฅบ She is the BEST mama so itโs bittersweetโฆ but there was no hesitation to make that decision knowing it would be best for her!
