I have been stumped the last couple of days thinking about what to post that I would like you guys to share… so I decided to do frequently asked questions/issues I have seen with dogs. Would also love if you guys would post your questions here or send them in a private message and I will use them throughout the month.

Today we will begin with nails. Nail trims are a necessity to keep your pet comfortable and healthy. As you can see from the picture, these nails are extremely long, causing them to grow to the side, causing extreme pain when the dog is walking. Nails this long can also be easily broken, causing pain and blood loss.

If your dog is on an eight week grooming schedule that is usually sufficient for nail trims, however, if your dog is not regularly groomed, they should be getting regular nails trims.

October is quickly approaching so time for me to make some decisions. Have been trying to decide what to do about a price increase for the year. I'm significantly lower in price for all my services as compared to the local competition.

Since grooming and daycare are more of a necessity and boarding is more of a luxury, I have decided to only raise the price of boarding this year.

New prices for boarding effective October 1, 2025 are as follows:
$38/day for 1 dog
$60/day for 2
$75/day for 3

Anything booked prior to Oct 1 will remain at the old rate.

And since October is my anniversary month, I will again be doing a drawing for $250. Stay tuned for ways to enter. Will start Oct 1 and drawing will be on Oct 31 at 7 pm.

Orange girl is Ready Set Texas Sugar at SenterStone, call name Suge.

Blue girl is SenterStone Tennessee Blues, call name Nessee.

They will be hitting the show ring early next year.

Yesterday was a sad day as I found out 3 of my clients had passed away....Sadie, Solstice and Indie. My heart breaks along with thier families. Til we meet again in that big groom shop in the sky🥰
