Animal Care Hospital Announces Exciting Partnership with Animal Medical Center
Great Bend, KS – June 24, 2025 – Animal Care Hospital (ACH) proudly announces an exciting new partnership with Animal Medical Center (AMC), enhancing veterinary services available to Great Bend and the surrounding communities.
Animal Care Hospital, led by Dr. Jackie Corbett, Dr. Jon Briel, Lorrie Ruble, LVT, receptionist Andrew Biernacki, and a dedicated kennel team, will continue providing compassionate, high-quality veterinary care at their existing location on 10th Street. The clinic remains open Monday through Friday and every other Saturday, ensuring consistent, convenient service for pets and their families.
Founded by Dr. Mike Malone and Lorrie Ruble, LVT, Animal Care Hospital has been a cornerstone of veterinary care in Great Bend since 1991. Dr. Jackie Corbett joined ACH in 1999, further enhancing the practice's longstanding commitment to excellence and compassionate service, including dedicated care for the Great Bend-Brit Spaugh Zoo.

Animal Medical Center, established in 1985 by Dr. Jerry Weil, has grown under the leadership of Dr. Nels Lindberg, who purchased AMC in 2005, and Dr. Ty Brunswig, who became a partner in 2018. AMC has evolved into a six-doctor, multi-species clinic passionately dedicated to changing lives through veterinary medicine.
