After multiple shoulder shots last week, Chloe was ready to go and made quick work of this track. Got the call this morning saying he was shot yesterday. He was slightly quartered to and thought it was a great shot but when the blood trail stopped at 200 yards and still no deer they decided to call in a dog. Chloe picked up on it quickly and took us straight to him. Shot was further back than they had thought and had entered through the liver and out the guts. We have tracked for this hunter in the past, glad we could help out again! Congratulations!
Happy Thanksgiving to all!

We went into this track thinking it was gonna be a quick recovery with all the information the hunter gave me but we were wrong. This deer atempted to cross the creek twice but didnt make it all the way across on the second crossing. Had blood going in the water but came up with nothing on the other side of the creek. We found that he walked in the water for 40-50 yards and then got back up on the bank without fully crossing. He made it another 400 yards and we found him on the edge of trees. Got lucky with this shot, arrow passed through both back legs, cutting just into the skin on his belly. Congratulations!

On the board for today! Hunter made a 45yard shot unsure of where he hit exactly. Arrow was coated in darker blood but didnt have a smell. The only blood on the ground was right at the hit sight. To be on the safe side we waited until morning since they were unsure. Chloe made quick work of the track and found him laying under some evergreens. Made the right choice of waiting, his meat was still slightly warm. Chloe was one happy girl and smiled for the picture🤣 Congratulations!

Chloe made quick work on this buck for an Alabama hunter. When he called he said the deer walked off, hunched up. They watched him for a ways and then lost sight. Knowing it was hit farther back i knew we needed to wait. I started Chloe on the track and she picked up right on it. She took us to a bed but no deer. We found where he crossed the creek and he was just on the other side under some trees. Congratulations!

Another great buck on the tailgate! They made the right decision and not to track at all after smelling guts on the arrow. Found him in his first bed at 450 yards. Went in 18hours post shot and luckily the coyotes didn’t beat us to him. Congratulations!

This was a challenging track that had us stumped for a while. The buck went 490 yards one way, then turned around and went 650 yards back the other way without bedding down.
After the shot, the deer hunched up, and the hunter watched him for about 45 minutes before losing sight. Never found the arrow. He went in 3½ hours later and found very little blood. The next afternoon, he found a bit more but still not much. Chloe started strong but struggled after the last blood. We searched the surrounding trees but she never gave signs she was on his track. After restarting her several times, she continued the same way but couldn’t advance.
I decided to run her on the track backward from the last blood, and she followed the same line BUT didn’t turn where the deer had exited the trees. I let her continue, and about 40 yards later, I found a small speck of blood, confirming the deer had circled back. She kept on the same track so we followed. Once we pasted the trucks, Chloe picked the track back up. We turned the corner and she pulled hard and started air-scenting. We soon smelled the deer and found a large pool of blood leading into the trees—there he was. The shot was high and far back, clipping the top of the guts. A coyote had run from that area when we pulled in, but the hunter said the blood trail went the other way. We thought about checking that area first but wanted to get chloe on it to show us where he went. Congrats to the hunter!

Got a call this morning about a deer that was shot last night. The hunter went shortly after he shot and bumped him and he bedded back down about 120 yards away. He backed out and went to check that bed this morning and found some blood in it but no deer. He decided to call in a dog as he made it to a milo field and was having a hard time seeing any blood. I started Chloe right around his last bed and she took us just over 500 yards to a creek bottom where we found him lay. Congrats to this hunter!

We’ve been very slow lately compared to previous years but starting to see a lot more action with this cooler weather.
Yesterday we got a call from a friend of ours. After watching the shot video multiple times and looking at the arrow we decided it was most likely liver. We gave him 11 hours and came back later that evening. Chloe got started on the track and took right off. Heavy mist washed away most of the blood. She made quick work of the track and shortly after we found him. We’re glad we didn’t go in any sooner as when we found him, his body was still very warm and not stiff yet. We were assuming he had just expired within 30-45 minutes before we got there. He was hit in one lung and liver. This is a great example of why wait time are very important! Congrats on a great buck!

Congrats to Khaven on his first deer! Was a great shot but after they found a sparse trail and very little on the arrow we opted to wait until morning. We found him just shy of 100 yards in some thick vegetation.

First pic is entry, second pic is exit. 2in rage broadhead. We tracked him a couple weeks ago. Had about 400 yards of good blood and then it completely stopped. Chloe tracked for another 1/2-3/4 of a mile but never gave signs of a dead deer so we were assuming it was too high for anything lethal. He showed back up 11 days later and the hunter said he had seen him running around acting perfectly fine. These are some tough animals.
