Continuing to make progress. Picking up feet, leading into new pen and even did a little lunging!

These two made so much progress yesterday and today! River has decided that Kylie is her friend now! She is allowing a halter to be placed on and accepts fly spray. She will take a couple steps for Kylie. Making progress! She is a very sweet girl!

River is slowly beginning to trust more. She is finally allowing a halter to be touched on her neck and face. Still won’t allow it to be put on, but getting closer. Just taking it slow with her to build her trust. She is a timid one.

We thought Kylie had chose a wild one for sure this year, but once she got home, she did just fine. She is still attached to the one she came home with, but is confident and will come up to Kylie to eat out of her hand and accept a few pets. She is a funny one as she snorts like a goose. Her name is River.

Making more progress. Trailered to a different property today to work on desensitizing to other objects and sounds. Wasn’t sure of the sheep, but adjusted.

Lightening is beginning to understand lunging. He is not a fan, but is improving little steps at a time.

This sweet boy did very well yesterday at the WHYC training day. Traveled wonderful in trailer with another mustang to the event. Picked up the obstacles very fast. He started yawing towards the end and was ready to come home. He also had his first hoof trim earlier in week and did great. The fireworks did not seem to bother him on the 4th either.

Little trailer work. Yes he eventually decided it was ok to come back out of the trailer. 🙂
