We are at MVMC with our foster baby Jello.
Poor guy has been waiting for his forever home for a long time and now he has two tick born diseases. We are very worried about our sweet boy.

🔔 Update: Angelo had to stay overnight at MVMC for additional testing and monitoring for possible seizure activity. We’re expecting an update on him this morning.

🚨 URGENT: ANGELO IS ON HIS WAY TO THE EMERGENCY CLINIC 🚨
Angelo began limping this weekend.
When it didn’t improve, we got him seen by a vet. Tests revealed he is positive for both Lyme and Anaplasmosis.
Then things got worse…💔
While at the clinic, Angelo developed head tremors…a red flag so serious the staff insisted he be transferred to MVMC for overnight emergency care.
His initial visit alone was $500. Now with emergency hospitalization, we are expecting another bill of a minimum $1,000.
Angelo has had the worst luck. He’s spent a year waiting for a home, overlooked time and again.
And now he’s fighting for his health. He cannot do this without us.
