Sierra joined us this week and has already won the hearts of our entire team. We hear that Sierra was a favorite at the Sanctuary she came up from. We can see why she was a favorite. She is like butter, she will melt into your heart the moment you meet her.

Sierra was anxious upon arrival, however it only took her a day to adjust to the new environment and routine. She has shown her sweet disposition and really loves cuddles with her favorite people. She’s proven to be a master cuddler in the short time she has been here.

Sierra does like other dogs. She made fast friends with one of our daycare buddies. She would benefit from having another friendly, calm and confident pup in the home.

Cats are unknown at this time.

We recommend that her ideal home have children over 12 years old.

Here's a link for those who would like to support the fishermen and fishing businesses impacted by the fire.

We want to extend our deepest gratitude to the Portland Fire Department and all first responders who acted quickly and bravely to protect lives, businesses, and our working waterfront. Their dedication and professionalism do not go unnoticed.

Moments like this remind us how tightly woven the Old Port community truly is. Neighbors looking out for neighbors, businesses checking in on one another, and a shared commitment to showing up when it matters most.

We are thinking of everyone affected and will continue to hold space for updates as more information becomes available. Portland is resilient, and we stand together.
