What can I say…. I’m a sucker for white🥰

My 2026 additions seem to have something in common….. white with blue eyes❤️

Goose & Mitzi

I’m not one to lie, I definitely have favorites at my barn!

For some reason I’m very attached to this roany mare, maybe it’s because she started as such a nut, fearful, reactive, tense.
We’ve built a long strong connection on trust. And when she looks at me I swear I melt a little, Tina has the most defined expression.

Im not sure what direction she’s heading in, but I know it’ll be in my pasture❤️

It’s fall around here, color bursting, the air is cool, horses are getting fuzzy, and frisky!
My favorite time of year!🍁🍂

What a privilege to have another fall of starting babies❤️

My favorite time of year is when the barn slows down and I spend time with my “new horses”!

The first step to regular handling is proper ground manners, Spink being my home grown girl is further ahead.
However Goose and Groovy blew my mind with how well they did!
The best way I’ve found to get a soft, reactive, willing horse is by teaching them to read Rizz’s body language, who does most of the work for me.
Pony-ing gets them watching me better, more aware, willing to move their feet, doing things they might not want to do, the first steps of a real job.

These babies are going into boot camp with a few others I will be sharing later….. we have a very large show team going into next year!🤩 you could say I collected this summer!😅

Rizz : buckskin, 3 year old
Goose : white tovero , 2 year old
Spink : Bay roan, yearling
Groovy : chestnut , yearling
