Happy Friday… although it’s not feeling very happy around here. 😿

We got some tough news: not only has our generator officially given up, but the HVAC unit for our sunroom is done too. YIKES. 💔

We’ve had a handyman out several times trying to repair both, but we’ve officially reached the point where we can’t bandaid these problems anymore. Unfortunately, replacing both is going to cost us around $11,000. There are additional details in a letter within this post.

For a rescue, that’s a HUGE unexpected expense — and every dollar we have is already going toward caring for our cats. ❤️

We have MANY kittens listed on our website, but here’s an important reminder: not every kitten is at Catnip Cottage! Our kittens are currently spread between the Cottage, foster homes, and 4 different pet stores. 🏡🐾

Be sure to read each kitty’s bio to see where they are currently located before making the trip!
