Sometimes we just have to brag about one of our own. ❤️🐾 You may have heard about the recent animal cruelty case in the town of Somerset, where 22 dogs arrived at the Niagara SPCA severely matted and in desperate need of some TLC. Our very own Makayla volunteered her time to help groom these sweet pups, giving them comfort, dignity, and a fresh start.

Luke and Lolli—pictured here—were two of Makayla's final grooms, and they stopped by to visit her at the hospital today. (We especially can't get over Luke's happy face in the bath! 😭❤️)

Makayla never volunteered for recognition—she just wanted to help. But we're incredibly proud to have someone with such a compassionate heart on our team.
