Bug and Sprout
This bonded 10-year-old duo are looking for a home, preferably together. Bug and Sprout have been in the care of Refreshing Paws as their loving owner was battling ongoing health complications for the past 13 months, and they were able to be reunited shortly before the owner sadly passed away. Now we are doing all we can to find these guys a permanent home where they can stay with each other and get all the love they deserve!

They are both super sweet cats who love affection and would tolerate another well-mannered pet or children in the household. They are indoor-only cats, declawed on their front paws (so they aren’t able to climb or scratch) and they are fully vaccinated/spayed.

The ideal home for these two would be with someone dedicated to staying on top of brushing and dieting Sprout, who has long hair and due to her rotund size, cannot groom herself. Bug is more active than her sister and loves to explore but also is happy snuggling up with Sprout.

Ridley presents like an old soul. She is very regal with her gorgeous eyes and soft, warm honey colored coat. Her best-fit home is a person/family who is looking for a dog to bond with, take daily walks and chill together in the evening. This precious dog wants to feel safe and cared for. That is all. She will give you all her heart in return. She is good in the car and does well with other dogs. She is being fostered in doggie day care kennel situation and is proving to be an easy keeper.

Ridley is spayed, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines. Her adoption fee is $150. She arrived from our trusted 401c3 Rescue partner is Mississippi, who step in to help the large volume of dumped dogs in their poor, rural area. We are so proud to sponsor Ridley and help her find her forever home.

Olaf is a 1.5 year old sweetheart of a dog. He enjoys being around you, playing with other dogs, riding in the car, and being silly with toys. He has a positive outlook that just well, frankly, kind of melts you. Olaf aka Ollie is a smart, eager to please, tunes in, and responds well to all people. He is doing well in a doggie day care foster setting where he is showing himself to be an easy keeper. Ollie is very manageable 38lbs, playful but settles nicely, and is likely a pit/aussie mix per the vet. He has the most charming peach-fuzz face! Olaf is neutered, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines. His adoption fee is $150. He is an absolute gem.

Good morning refreshing Paws in Gorham is currently looking for a part-time Groomer. Friday Saturday, Sunday, Monday. you can work one day two days or work them all. Very flexible, scheduling and hours. Set your own pace and do however many animals you would like. ATTENTION PLEASE !!!!
Very important announcement.
For the first time in 40 years of doing business Refreshing Paws will temporarily close for one week to make some repairs and give myself and my staff some very well needed rest! 
I am letting you know ahead of time so hopefully it will not impact any of your own vacation plans I apologize for the inconvenience, but I really do have a great group of people working for me right now, as you all know and I think they deserve a little break!
The dates we will be closed are Monday, March 23 to Sunday, March 29.
