Peanut was so hot so it was time for another body clip. Normally, I can’t do her by myself but yesterday she stood still and I got it done .  Need to do a few touchups, but she feels so much better. We  have had Peanut for a few years now and it has taken her that long to learn to trust people . There are still times that she is very skittish but once you get a halter on her and spend time with her, she’ll follow you anywhere.  She loves attention and treats .

Pictures of some of my girls that have ridden with me that came on Monday or one weekend to spend some time with us. Sure was nice seeing them again . Growing up to fast . We have additional pups in the family now. Meet Daisy & Duke . Zipper is handling it well . We want to introduce Karen Miller who volunteers here at PRS and rescue. She does a great job and we all appreciate her so much !

MK has been coming to our barn  for quite a while. She is from Northern Virginia. She is one of our first pupils that we had when we opened our barn in Goodview. She started out just like everybody else beginner - but through the time  she has ridden with us which is not consistent like most riders since  she isn’t local she picks up where she left off.  She managed a nice canter on Chili . She loves to ride Matt and they do well together.  So we focused on a few different things this time and they did great!

Beautiful flowers from my working pupil . She has been with us for at least two years. She has come so far , the horse’s love her . She does a great job of grooming, and general barn chores and assisting with lessons.

So many things going on the last few weeks . We have had lessons. between rain or heat . Hard to believe kids are going back to school . With that thought in mind we will be offering lesson’s after school , holidays, and Saturday’s. We offer pony parties , family groups. Wanting to ride and don’t know where to start or thinking about getting a horse. We offer sessions for those that are interested from the ground up from grooming to tacking to lesson’s, first aid , stable management and more. We are also looking for volunteers to help on our farm & rescue . Check us out on our web page . We are still working on our website with more details coming soon . Hope to hear from you .🐴
