✨ Introducing Sandidge Sport Horses ✨

After three years of major life changes — including closing Sapphire Stables, moving to North Carolina, and beginning a new chapter — I am excited to reintroduce myself and officially share the next step in my journey: Sandidge Sport Horses. 🐴

While the name is new, the heart of the program is not. Sandidge Sport Horses carries forward the same values, traditions, and work ethic that built Sapphire Stables — developing riders of all ages, teaching true horsemanship, and always putting the horse first. My motto remains: keep moving forward, keep pushing forward, and keep your eye on the goal.

I am thrilled to build this future alongside my husband, Sean Sandidge, and deeply grateful to all my family, friends, colleagues, students, and supporters who have stood by me through every chapter. Your encouragement has made this new beginning possible.

For those who may be new here:

I grew up in Corvallis, MT and began competing at age five in the Paint Horse Circuit, earning numerous awards in Western disciplines before transitioning into Hunter/Jumper. In 2016, I founded Sapphire Stables in Gulfport, MS, which became one of the top programs on the Gulf Coast. Over the years, my riders and I have competed successfully in PHJA, MHJA, LHJA, USEF, USHJA, and TIP — always with an emphasis on safety, partnership, and respect for the horse.

Now, in North Carolina, I am beyond excited to grow Sandidge Sport Horses — a program rooted in excellence, integrity, and a genuine love for horses and the sport.

Thoroughbreds don’t stop being athletes when they stop racing.

They bring athleticism, stamina, and feel to every discipline—jumping, eventing, dressage, foxhunting, trail, rodeo and beyond. When a horse leaves the track healthy and properly supported, he isn’t a burden. He’s an asset, ready to become someone’s teammate.

Responsible aftercare means we do two things well:

Protect horses who need help with rehab, retraining support, and safe long-term options when a riding career isn’t possible.

Move sound, ready horses forward into real second career homes, where their talent benefits riders, families, and barns across the sport-horse world.

This is how we “pass the torch.” Racing lights it. Aftercare protects it. Partner Farms and Trainers shape it. New homes carry it forward—with accountability and respect for what these horses have already accomplished.

Turning For Home is proud to build that bridge—because the finish line is not the end. It’s the handoff.

Let them have a horse, let them ride,
Let them learn with dirt stained pride.
Give them reins and room to grow,
Show them truths only horses know.

Boots in stirrups, heart be still.

That feed needs hauling, stalls need cleaned...

And the freedom only horses share.
For horses teach what words cannot...
Strength, respect, and all they’ve got.

So when they ask, don’t think twice,
The price is high, but so’s the gain.
Because without a horse, they’ll never know, the kind of love that helps them grow.
