🐴💛 Addison’s Summer Training Project — Meet Celine! 💛🐴

At just 13 years old, Addison has already been part of our program for a year and a half, and this summer she told us she was ready for a new challenge: she wanted her own horse training project.

So we went to the sale and let Addison choose her project. She picked a little mare with a sweet heart and named her Celine. ❤️

Celine was kind, but she came to us knowing very little. Her ground manners needed a lot of work, she was strong and pushy, and under saddle she didn’t understand how to properly respond to leg or rein cues.

That’s when the real work began.

With our instruction and supervision, Addison worked with Celine every day. Little by little, patience and consistency started paying off. She taught her groundwork, lunging, walk-trot-lope under saddle, better responsiveness to her cues, and began introducing obstacles. She even took her out on the trails several times!

What started as a little mare who didn’t know much has developed into a much more confident, responsive, and enjoyable horse.

But the biggest transformation wasn’t only Celine’s. Watching Addison learn how to problem-solve, develop feel, stay patient, and take responsibility for a horse’s education has been incredible.

I am so proud of this young trainer and her little mare. This is exactly why we believe in giving young horsemen and horsewomen real opportunities to learn. You can teach horsemanship in a lesson, but there is something special about giving a young person a project and allowing them to experience the entire journey.

Celine will soon be offered for sale, and we’re excited for someone else to enjoy the horse Addison has worked so hard to develop. 🐴✨

Well done, Addison & Celine. What a summer project! ❤️

🐴✨ Miss Delta just keeps getting better! ✨

A couple of months under saddle now, and we are so proud of how beautifully this young mare is progressing!

Delta has officially graduated to the big arena and is confidently working at the walk, trot, and lope. Her stop is getting really nice, and we’ve started introducing different obstacles to continue building her confidence and versatility.

What we love most is her attitude—she is taking it all in stride. Calm, smart, willing, and always ready to learn something new. 💛

This is exactly what we want to see as a young horse progresses through our program: a solid foundation, confidence, responsiveness, and a willing mind.

Great job, Miss Delta! We’re excited to keep adding more skills and see just how far this special mare can go. 🐴❤️
