Well we can't believe it. Today is exactly ONE whole year of our new store being open. We are extremely grateful for all of our loyal customers and we thank you for all of your support to get us here.
The process for this store started early 2025 and it was a rush to the finish line with an imaginary date in our heads to open before the summer was over. Many of you didn't know that behind the walls of the run-in shed that spring, there was major construction happening, that was until we poured the concrete out front and built the front porch. There was no hiding the big surprise anymore. Exactly one week before we opened it was slightly chaotic getting everything in place. We closed our little store one last time on a Sunday night last summer in August. The next day we had to take every piece of meat down to our walk in freezer and move all the store freezers over to the new store. We had some of our girls working through the week to get everything in place for our big opening. Not only did our customers show up for us the last week in the old store, but you showed up in numbers for our grand opening.
Over the last year so much has changed and been added on our store side of things. We went from a little shed sized store that was built during covid, to a store that is 3 times the size with a stock room attached. A few changes that have been added are a broad selection of canned goods, candy, and snacks, delicious homemade sourdough goodies, our own beef tallow, a few new flavors of sausages, lots and lots of produce, and our very own egg cartons. There are so many more little details that help us everyday that maybe you don't notice like our stock room, having a whopping 2 registers, and even a shopping cart. Again, we can't believe it's already been one year. We thank you so much.
