This past weekend Unalome Dressage attended the Loch Moy Spring Fling 1&2 horse show(s) with three horses. Jessica took Yamileth Ocon’s delightful 4-year-old gelding Dynamite CF (Diesel x Belissamo) to his very first under saddle show. He demonstrated the composure of a much older horse and handled the busy atmosphere with poise and confidence. Saturday he came in second in Training 3 and won his Materiale class. On Sunday he came out even more confidently and won his materiale class and earned a 75.8 in training 3 for training level high score and we believe high score for the show. What a good baby horse!
Adelynn Young knocked off the horse show rust and took her pony Livin Large FLF out at third level. This is Addie and Zemer’s first outing at third level and first time under the Unalome Dressage logo. She gained some valuable lessons in test riding and earned her first score towards her bronze medal! We are so proud of how much growth this pair has gained over the last year.
Christina Lortz took her mare Nevada CL out for her first trip around 4:3 and produced a lovely, confident and accurate test on Sunday for a solid 68.889%, the win and 4th level high score! Sunday was also Tina’s birthday and we can think of no better way to celebrate this occasion.
Congratulations to all our riders, owners and their horses. We want to thank our sponsors Back on Track USA, The Distinguished Rider,Hulsebos Saddles, Hallway Feeds,NW Custom Browbands - Beaded Browbands and Dog Collars, and Bascule Bonnets. You guys are all an integral part of our team’s success.
Thank you to Loch Moy Farm show officials, judges, and volunteers. Without you we would not be able to enjoy such a fabulous show!
Finally a huge hug and thank you goes out to Patti Fenwick and the staff at Church Hill Farm. For if things weren’t run so smoothly at home I would never feel confident to go and show 🙂.
