Still Pond Stables is currently accepting new clients, offering highly competitive onsite leasing opportunities. Below is a selection of just some of our available horses for lease. We are seeking skilled riders to join our competitive show team, which participates in regional shows and rated circuits. Located in Glen Arm, MD, our private stable is set amidst 36 acres of picturesque landscape. We provide expert instruction in Dressage, Equitation, Hunter, and Jumper, catering to all skill levels, from novice to advanced. We accommodate trailering in your horse for lessons. Part time Barn help. Farm has 11 stalls and a few more that live out. We are in search of a self-starter who is also able to take direction when needed. Also must have transportation. Small boarding barn with friendly people, designed to run efficiently so not a terribly difficult job.

Duties include:
-Feeding grain and supplements for evening feed.
-Cleaning 11 stalls and providing hay
-Cleaning water troughs and cleaning/filling water buckets
-Turning horses out
-Maintaining a safe and tidy environment
-Identifying and alerting owners of colic or anything else requiring medical attention

This could be the perfect set up for someone with farm/horse care experience. Looking for someone to work five days a week Monday thru Friday from 3pm to 6pm. We are Located in Glen Arm, MD.

Team Still Pond had another great day at the HHSA Benefit Show. Along with our Champion-Iris and Reserve Champion -Kitty for Baby Green and a fantastic debut with Viva La Vida ridden by Courtney Somers getting Champion in Low Hunter, our riders came home with three other major awards. Brooke Morrison got Reserve Champion for the Long Stirrup Medal, Iris Hamilton won the Perpetual Trophy for Baby Green and Molly McGarvey brought home the Perpetual Trophy for Low Hunter!! It was another awesome year for our team at the HHSA series.

🏆 Paige and Rosmels Scarlet Slippers received great ribbons in Long Stirrup!
🏆 Brooke and Leap of Faith Reserve Championed in Long Stirrup!
🏆 Kitty and Paint By Numbers had their show debut receiving great ribbons!
🏆 Iris and Finest Hour also received great ribbons in their respective classes!
🏆 Molly and Mr. Brightside had their show debut earning Champion in Low Hunter and Baby Green. And got Reserve Champion in Equitation!
🏆 Kayla and D’Artangan had their show debut together receiving Champion in Pleasure Horse and Hopeful Hunter!
🏆Kaitlyn and Grey Goose Reserve Championed in Pleasure Horse!
🏆 Erika and Grey Goose had their show debut earning Champion in Pre-Child/ Adult Hunter!

The rain was pouring down but our team results were far from a wash out 😅😅

🏆 Leah and Rosmels Scarlet Slippers received Reserve Champion in beginner rider!
🏆 Paige and Rosmels Scarlet Slippers received Champion in long Stirrup Hunter!
🏆 Brooke and Leap of Faith received Reserve Champion in Long Stirrup Hunter!
🏆 Kitty and With Eloquence had their show debut receiving great ribbons!
🏆 Iris and Finest Hour also had their show debut receiving Reserve Champion in Low Children’s Hunter!
🏆 Molly and Loafers Lodge Bow Tie received Champion in Green Pony Hunter and a 1st place medal win!

Lastly…. A huge THANK YOU goes out to Kayla and Kaitlyn Barrouk for all the help yesterday!!! 🤗🥇
