We are needing to hire a veterinary assistant. This is a full time position. Our days can be fast-paced and hectic but it can also be very rewarding work. We strive to create a great work environment and all our employees have been with us for 2-8 yrs. We figure if we have to work everyday then we might as well like each other and have fun. I'm so appreciative for all our clients but there's a special place in my heart for my earliest clients. Tyler Bryant was a client when I barely had any clients and he became a great friend to me and my practice. For years people would come in and say, "this guy was working at my house and he recommended you." I immediately knew it was either Tyler or the phone repairman. A few years ago my dryer quite over the weekend and he came to my rescue. He hadn't been here even a minute and he said, "ok, it's fixed." Frustrated, I said, "what the hell, Tyler?" As if telling me a secret, he explained, "you turned it to no heat." We had a big laugh over that and I made him promise that we'd never tell anyone else about it. Tyler was a wonderful man, friend and client. Anytime I was working in the back and heard his voice in the lobby it made me smile and want to come up to say hi. Tyler spent years coming to the rescue of so many of us who were inconvenienced by a protesting appliance. Hopefully, we can return that favor by supporting his beautiful young family who he loved so fiercely.

On Sunday, March 22, 2015 Dr Groce was called in to perform an emergency C-section and delivered 3 beautiful little yorkie puppies. He had no idea what that routine emergency surgery would mean. Eight weeks later one of those puppies came to live with him and they’ve been inseparable since. Scamp has visited 27 states, 13 national parks and 2 Canadian Provinces. Wherever Dr Groce goes, Scamp is almost always right by his side. Happy birthday, Scamp!!!

Thank you to everyone who participated in our Christmas giveaway! We randomly selected 5 people yesterday afternoon. It’s Christmas at Lakeside Animal Health! Santa Claus has dropped some things off to celebrate the holiday season. We’re going to give all these 5 items away over the next few days. Each day we’ll post instructions on how to get entered. On December 21 we’ll randomly draw 5 people for the gifts!
