✨🐾 August is National Immunization Awareness Month! 🐾✨

At Glasgow Veterinary Medical Center, we’re celebrating by helping our community keep their pets healthy, protected, and thriving. Vaccines and wellness testing are key to preventing serious diseases — whether your pets are indoor snugglers or outdoor adventurers.

💉 Core & Recommended Vaccines for Dogs:

Rabies

DA2PP (Distemper, Adenovirus, Parvo)

Influenza

Bordetella

F***l Screening

Heartworm Test (HWT) — screens for heartworm disease spread by mosquitoes and three tick‑borne diseases (Lyme, Ehrlichia canis, and Anaplasma)

🐱 Recommended Vaccines & Testing for Cats:

FIV & FeLV Testing -If your kitty is outdoor and tests negative for FIV and FeLV, we recommend vaccinating for FeLV, to keep them safe and healthy.

FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia)
