This beautiful 10-week-old Catahoula mix named Soara came in for her 1st Healthy Paws visit and had a heart-to-heart with LVT Sam.

During her visit, Soara received a full physical exam, a dewormer to treat intestinal parasites, Distemeper-Parvo vaccination, and her first doses of flea, tick and heartworm prevention.

We recommend scheduling your puppy’s first visit between 6–8 weeks of age. At this initial appointment, we’ll perform a full physical exam, check for intestinal parasites, give age-appropriate vaccinations, and start them on flea and heartworm prevention. After that, your puppy should return every 3–4 weeks for booster vaccines and follow-up exams until they're about 16 weeks old. Once they’ve completed their puppy series, we’ll see them yearly to keep them healthy and protected throughout life! 🐾

We had the cutest visitors! Carly, Kim, and Katie were all smiles getting to snuggle these little ones during their first Healthy Paws appointment. During their visit they received:
