We accept animals from residents within Scott County who have a current form of ID. We offer these pets for adoption to the public. The shelter accepts dogs, cats, and other animals, by appointment only, from residents who have a current ID, within our city and county. Please submit an owner surrender form to scottky.rescuegroups.org. We offer animals for adoption to the general public. Adoption f

ees: Dogs/Puppies $110 This includes spay/neuter, booster vaccine, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, heartworm test, fecal, flea treatment and microchip. Cats/Kittens $90 This includes spay/neuter, booster vaccine, rabies vaccine, combo test for feline leukemia and FIV, fecal, flea treatment and microchip. The shelter also partners with the Scott County Humane Society and multiple rescue organizations to find homes for animal in our care. We accept monetary donations as well as items we use on a daily basis. We do have a wish list posted in "photos" on our FB page or we will email you one upon request. Our email is [email protected].

We are excited to share a training video with you, courtesy of All Dogs Go To Kevin. 🐕😊 Sienna has been with us since March, and we are unsure why, but she continues to be overlooked. 🤔😔🐾 Elise, one of our volunteers, engaged an exceptional trainer a few weeks ago to work with Sienna, and she is proving to be a very quick learner 🐕👍 Elise has also become a foster home with the Scott County Humane Society - "For Pets' Sake" 🏡🐾💖 Yesterday, she brought Sienna home and will continue her training sessions 🏠🐕 We are incredibly grateful to Elise for her extraordinary efforts in assisting Sienna🙏🌟💖

Yay, bath time!! 🛁🐕🎉 We've got a bunch of puppies that'll be up for adoption soon! 🐾🐶😊 There's this adorable litter of eight, and if you want a BIG dog, you gotta see these pups!! 🐕‍🦺🐾😍 They're 13 weeks old and already weigh over 25 pounds! 🐾🐶💪 There are 7 girls and 1 boy. 👧👦💖 They're a little shy right now, checking out everything, but they're super lovable and cuddly! 🥰🐾💖 We'll post individual pics soon! 📸🐶😊

It's hard to believe that baby Ronald is so relaxed now!😽Last week, he was hiding and hissing and trying his best to act feral! He's decided people aren't so bad afterall!🤗 Stop by and visit! You can sit indoors and watch Hermes run on the wheel or enjoy this beautiful weather with the kitties, outdoors on our catio.
