Maisely thoroughly enjoyed her visit to Biggby Coffee Georgetown, KY - 126 Amerson Way this morning! She ate up every bit of her pup cup (good to the last drop!) She was super polite and took everything in well. She was a bit curious when we ordered our drinks, but sat when asked and enjoyed getting some cuddles in!

Maisley is a 4 year old, 83lb Dutch Shepherd mix. She loves car rides (jumped right up in the truck bed like she's done it every day!) She can be particular about what kind of dogs she wants to hang out with (not anyone bigger than her!), so a meet and greet would be required if there's any in a potential new home. She's very sweet and chill most of the time, and enjoys attention! She'd certainly make a loyal companion, but does not appreciate small children's antics. She is crate trained and housebroken, too!

We would like to give a big shout out to Cincinnati Lab Rescue for taking Ranger! We can't believe this smart, handsome boy kept getting overlooked! He is so gentle, loves everyone, house trained, the works, and still no one adopted him. Someone is going to get the BEST DOG EVER when they adopt Ranger!💙Also, thank you to the kind lady who transported him today!
Ranger had to get one last belly rub for the road!🤗🥰

Izzy is a gorgeous black lab mix with a loving and affectionate nature. She is a very smart girl who loves to please you and is highly trainable, making her a wonderful companion.

Mimi is a female Siberian Husky. She had to have surgery to fix her eyelid due to a condition known as entropion, where the eyelid rolls inward. She is healing well and really loves a good chin scratch from living with the dreaded cone! Come meet this special girl today

Ranger had a GREAT time at Biggby Coffee Georgetown, KY - 126 Amerson Way this morning! He was a little unsure coming in, but realized very quickly that he was gonna be spoiled with cuddles, belly rubs, and of course his Pup Cup (which he really enjoyed, though we had to scoop out most of it for him because he did want to put his nose in the cup!) He was super polite and a perfect gentleman, sitting or laying down quietly while we paid for and waited for our drinks.

We don't know how this absolutely stellar 4 year old guy is still here after 2 whole months!!! A typical, loveable black Lab, his last owner had to give him up due to military obligations. 🇺🇲 🫡 He'd love a family of his own to snuggle and play with! He'd be happy as a couch potato and he'd love a yard or go on walks, but only so he doesn't actually *become* a potato! 🥔😜 A meet and greet would be required for any future doggy siblings. And he's already housebroken! Come on by and visit Ranger sometime soon!

Behind the scenes: Meet Pepper! Pepper has been with us since Feb 2, when she was found after being hit by a car. She had a broken pelvis so she's been on strict cage rest for 8 weeks! She is the sweetest, most patient girl! She was finally cleared by the vet and has been bathed and spayed. Plus, she got to go outside and feel the grass and RUN! She loved every minute of it and she couldn't stop rolling in it! Pepper has an adopter lined up and will be going to her new home this week. We are going to miss this sweet girl! 🐾💗🐾

Please do not remove the turtles from their area/home! 🐢💗🐢

Did you know a Box turtle only roams 1 mile its whole life? If it is removed from its area/home, then for the rest of its life it will roam aimlessly stressed out... trying to find "home" until it dies a very sad death.

Please do not remove turtles. Do not take them home as pets. If one is injured, please mark the exact spot found for a wildlife rehabber or animal control agent. If a turtle is in the road, you can help by moving it directly across the street in the direction it was heading. Thank you!

Many people think it is harmless to let their children take home a docile turtle to play with and release it someplace they see appropriate. I was once that kid.

In 5 days, we've taken in 9 momma cats and a total of 41 babies!🐾😽🐾 This is not counting all the other adults we've taken in! We are desperately seeking foster homes! Get signed up at sc4paws.org to help save lives. Plus, you get to have all the fun watching these babies grow!🥰
Also, please SPAY and NEUTER your pets!!
