🐾: separate pups in different playrooms based on size and play style so they stay around like-minded friends

🧡: have an incredible team of doggie experts who are skilled in interacting with large groups of dogs

📋: perform an initial assessment to ensure all dogs are a good fit

🌬️: use an advanced HVAC system to filter harmful particles out and bring clean air in

🧽: deep clean each playroom twice a day using dog-safe cleaning products to maintain a safe playing area

👟: use comfy rubberized flooring in our playrooms so dogs won’t slip or hurt themselves on tough gravel or cement. Plus it's better for their paws and joints!

On Wednesday March 12th, Mr and Mrs Egan’s dog Pancake came in for daycare, happy and playful like every other time for the past 5 years. Pancake was taking a little mid-day nap on one of our cots, and when she got up, we noticed her back legs dragging. In the span of 10 minutes we had to watch her lose complete mobility of her hind legs. She was rushed to VCA where after multiple tests, she was diagnosed with a spinal stroke.

Our community has always been one of kindness, support, and strength in times of need and we are now asking everyone to come together to help those who have dedicated so much to us - Mr. And Mrs. Egan, two incredible teachers who have given their all to educate, inspire, and shape the future of our children. Pancakes family is doing everything they can, but the mounting medical bills, along with the extensive physical therapy Pancake will have to endure, is becoming overwhelming.

Pancakes future is still unclear on if she will be able to walk again, but we are clear on one thing; we will do everything we can to help her get the best chance possible. We have watched this incredible, loving, and playful dog grow up, and have been with her family every step of the way, and will continue to do so. We know times are tough but we are asking community members to help spread pancakes story in any way, gather as much support, and any donations possible to help pancakes journey to recovery.
