ID #: 58417331

And ALL of this is included in her adoption fee of just $25🐾 This girl would be fine to be your one and only and soak up all the attention, or she would prefer another dog that is lower energy like herself that doesn't have interest in rough housing. **Ongoing cruelty investigation**

A good Samaritan reported seeing an injured dog, our ACO team responded quickly and was able to secure the dog in a humane trap.

This dog is involved with an ongoing cruelty investigation. We are seeking rescue placement as this dog will require continued wound management and a higher level of care than the shelter can provide. Understandably, he is in a great deal of pain/discomfort so he has been muzzled and sedated for safety.

We hate to be so blunt but this is the reality across shelters nation wide. Animals continue to be bred faster than we can find families for them. It's simple math, far too many unwanted animals - not enough available kennels or homes😞

All of these dogs are here to no fault of their own. There is STILL time to save them. There is still time to ensure they aren't just another statistic.

Adopt. If you can't adopt, offer to foster. If you can't foster, volunteer. If you can't volunteer, donate. If you can't donate, share!

Who remembers Blondie?💗
Animal ID #: 58234553
Dog test link: https://www.instagram.com/p/DK-JSNYRGrV/?img_index=1

This girl was on our urgent list several weeks ago but a foster stepped up to help her. This week she returned to the shelter and received her diroban injections but she is still without rescue commitment😔

For anyone who might not remember, Blondie came to us in a trap as a semi-feral dog. She does still need continued socialization which is why we are seeking rescue placement for her.

Blondie is a 3 year old mixed breed, she is smaller in size at just 33lbs. She has been spayed, microchipped, and now treated for HW disease! Prior to going into foster, Blondie joined our gentle/dainty playgroups with other dogs🐾 She is more drawn to other dogs than she is people and a home with a “helper” dog would be very beneficial for her!

In foster she was working on crate training and was also working on going potty outside. She did well and only had limited accidents (when it was raining outside). She did great with the resident dogs in the home!🏡

We have a large litter of 8 week old kittens that unfortunately tested positive for Giardia. We have begun treatment (metronizadole twice daily for 10 days & panacur once daily for 10 days).

Luckily, this is something we can easily treat BUT it means 2 kennels are occupied and will be for the duration of treatment. Our sick ward only has 11 kennels and we are already bursting at the seams this kitten season. If incoming sickly kittens arrive this group will quickly become at risk for euthanasia, simply because we have no other space for them to be quarantined and we cannot close for intake - even if full🥺

We are hoping one of our rescue partners or even an expeirenced foster would be willing to help. We supply all medications, veterinary care, and supplies. You provide a space away from other household pets that can serve as quarantine (many foster utilize a guest bathroom!) We would be glad to split this litter into 2 groups of three to make this more manageable🤍

MUST HAVE COMMITMENT BY 06/19 END OF DAY‼

🚨SENIOR IN URGENT NEED🚨

In the quiet shadows of the overcrowded shelter, an aging soul rests💔 Years of loyalty and love have been replaced by unfamiliar surroundings and lonely nights😔 Once a faithful companion - a reminder of what was lost.

This girl is serving stray hold until 06/18 but she will clearly be needing rescue pull due to medical concerns. We can only hope in previous years she was loved and treated kindly and her being here is a set of tragic events. Perhaps she ran off and has been missing, or her owner passed away, something much easier to digest than the thought of anyone leaving her purposefully in this condition🥺

We are calling her Eleanor💜

Puddin' is one of our longest extended stay residents and we simply don't know why🥺 During the spring and summer time, we are quite busy with school group visits and she has been a HUGE favorite among them all. They love her for her gentle nature and she certainly isn't shy to climb into laps for belly rubs💜

Puddin’ ID #: 58284620 is a 2 year old terrier mix weighing 66lbs. She is lower energy. She is already spayed & microchipped! She did test positive for HW disease but the shelter provides treatment to adopters and even local rescues at no additional cost🎉

Puddin’ does go out to playgroups with other dogs and she prefers the gentle dainty group. She likes to greet dogs and sniff around the yard, she’s not a big fan of the high energy rougher playing pups. Puddin' would be the perfect couch potato, netflix buddy, and lap warmer!🐾

Both of these kittens arrived to the shelter in poor condition😞 Both require close monitoring and supplemental feeding. They are both very touch and go at the moment but their best chances are under the care of a rescue where higher levels of care can be provided🤍

▪️Buff: Stray intake 06/11. Upon intake gums were pale. BG was 44, BG was 106 after P had eaten. Suspended vaccines. Began Rebound and reccomended feeding A/D. 06/12 AM - P was lethargic with head tilt. Administered nutrical liquid. Advised syringe feeding 3x daily. 06/12 PM - P still not eating well. Attempted to collect blood sample, unable to due to dehydration. Temp low 99.4. Administered sub q fluids.

▪️Gray tabby: Surrendered 06/11. Upon intake gums were pale. Did find fleas and administered Capstar. Malnourished, supplementing with nutrical and syringe feeding.
