LIFE really takes a village and YES I mean that for pet sitting too! No I do not have employees BUT I have a team of back ups that work so well together it seems like we are one!

Last week was a perfect example: I got tagged in where I did night visits only(kitty photo) and then due to my off days I had to tag in another sitter to help over the weekend then back to me this week!

What’s great about hiring a sitter I network with is:

We communicate frequently and keep each other updated, some of the sitters use TTP, we will meet for key swapping if needed, and our rates are similar.

Do not kill the snakes!!! 🐍

Do not kill snakes!

Uneducated people: "It's just a snake, I hit him in the head just enough to knock him out."

No what you did was crush his skull enough that he was still alive but brain damaged.

Snakes are low on oxygen requiring ectotherms. Their physiology is vastly different from a mammal, therefore they can and do live for hours after supposedly being killed but it’s just going to lay there and suffer. If an opossum was killed it may only live a few minutes. Why is this important? An injured snake cannot get away which it would do if approached and because it is more likely to bite.

EDUCATE, CONSERVE AND INSPIRE!

People please educate yourselves and your children! Education is the greatest weapon against fear and ignorance!

We are born to love all creatures, fear and ignorance is taught by those who are not properly educated about snakes.

Why would you kill a creature that has done nothing to you except try and survive, they were here before us and all they want is to be left alone and raise a family that's what animal's do they procreate. The only good snake is a live snake. If you don't believe that, then everything you've been taught about snakes your entire life is wrong. There is no point living your life in fear when you can do something about it, and there's no point in hating an animal simply because you don't understand it.

This is a non venomous kingsnake that would have kept this families property under control of rodents for years!
