Save Lives with Us! Our rescue saves dogs and cats from streets & shelters in the Houston area, finding them loving homes across the U.S. & Canada.

We adopt out with transport stops in WA, OR, UT, ID, OH, VA, CT, NY, VT, PA, TN, KY, IN, IL, WI & MN! The animals that come into our program are placed in foster homes or boarding, given time to decompress and receive proper medical treatment, then they are posted for adoption in northern states for families like you to adopt!

🐾 Snohomish, y’all showed up! 🐾

A big thank you to everyone who came out to meet our adoptable dogs, shop for supplies, and support rescue yesterday at Sound to Summit Brewing. Every smile, every cuddle, and every donation helps us keep saving lives. 💛

We’re so grateful to Sound to Summit Brewing for hosting us, and to our amazing volunteers and fosters who made this event possible. These gatherings might look small, but they create big ripples—every dog adopted or fostered here means one more spot opens up back in Texas for a dog in desperate need.

✨ Event highlights:
– Two of our adoptable puppies, Keshi and Dean, had meet & greets and left the event for their forever homes!
– We also had the joy of welcoming back two alumni, including Luke, who was adopted two years ago. There’s nothing sweeter than seeing our pups thriving with their families. 🐶💛

For the past two weeks, Quartz & Topaz have been safe in boarding thanks to YOUR donations—because when we pulled their mama and 9 newborns, there were no foster homes open yet for these two older siblings.

💕 They just landed in a foster home, finally feeling the comfort of a couch and the love of a family after surviving the streets of Cleveland, TX.

BUT here’s the hard part: their foster can only keep Topaz (the girl) long-term. Quartz still needs a foster ASAP so he doesn’t lose the safety he’s just found.

🍁 🍂 First day of fall = the perfect time to fall in love.

Not just with pumpkin spice and cozy sweaters—but with a new best friend. 🐶🐱

We’re Three Little Pitties Rescue, an all-breed dog and cat rescue out of Houston, TX. Since 2018, we’ve saved & adopted out over 17,000 animals, and every two weeks our transport buses head out of Texas loaded with dogs and cats bound for the PNW, Midwest, and East Coast.

From scruffy street dogs to tiny kittens, couch cuddlers to hiking buddies—we’ve got them all. And every single one is just waiting for someone to fall in love with them this season.

Houston & PNW — we’re begging for temp fosters.

When a dog’s main foster is on vacation or out of town, they’ve got nowhere to go. Sending them back to boarding, especially the young ones or medical cases, breaks our hearts—it sets them back in progress and takes away everything they’ve been learning in a home.

We know we ask a lot. But this is one of the easiest ways to help:
✔️ One night.
✔️ A weekend.
✔️ A week.

Low commitment, HUGE impact. Every short stay means a dog stays safe, stable, and ready for their forever family.

🥺 This is what survival looks like: a starving mama, 7 newborns, and a drain pipe for a nursery.

She had 11 babies, but only 7 made it. We stepped in yesterday after street feeders reached out from Cleveland, TX, worn down to the bone with fleas crawling all over her and a tick big as a blueberry hanging on.

She did the best she could with nothing at all. 💔

Today, she and her pups are finally safe in our mama barn here in Texas. We’re getting them all cleaned up, removing the fleas and ticks one by one, and giving them a warm bed and full bellies for the very first time.

But here’s the truth—we only have a handful of spots for mamas like her, and there are so many more still out there.

This family will eventually need socialization volunteers, puppy pads, puppy food, vaccines, and when the time comes, fosters to step up once the babies are weaned. Every gift you give not only helps them, but also helps us say “yes” to the next mama desperate for a chance.

If fostering a mama with puppies is on your heart, we’d love to move them into a home and free up space to save more.

What a day yesterday up here in the PNW at Willamette Garage! 🌟 Huge shoutout to our new Portland-area volunteer and event lead, Leana, for putting on this amazing event.

Thanks to her, the event was full of smiles, happy tails, and folks eager to learn how fostering and adopting changes lives.

Pluto also finally met his forever family right here—after waiting months for his chance. 🎉 He’s pure perfection, and we couldn’t be happier for him and them.

Every single foster and adoption means one more spot opens up back in Texas for a dog that desperately needs saving. ❤️ That’s why these PNW meet-and-greets matter so much.

All three pups in attendance left adopted or with adoption interest, which is more than we could’ve hoped for! Big thank you to Willamette Garage for hosting us and helping make it such a special day.

💔 Tabatha’s Story 💔 Just eight months old and only 36 pounds, this puppy collapsed in the dumping fields of Cleveland, TX last week (watch video in comments). Too weak from thirst and hunger, she stumbled and fell to the ground more than once before longtime street feeder Zully found her. Covered in fleas, starved, and utterly defeated, she had no strength left to fight.

When Tabatha arrived at our clinic yesterday, her face said it all—tired, broken, and worn down from surviving the streets. 💔 But today her story turns a corner. Thanks to Zully who refused to leave her behind, and to foster hero Diann who opened her home, Tabatha is safe. She’s on her way to foster care, where her real healing can begin.

Three years ago, little Breccia from our “Rock Litter” left Texas for a brighter future. Today, she’s Roxy—proud graduate of her Advanced Training Class and newly minted Canine Good Citizen!

Her adopter shared that after being diagnosed with recurrent breast cancer in 2024, Roxy has been her constant, serving as a certified emotional support dog. She goes along to medical appointments at MSK, visits the classroom a few days a month, and will soon begin therapy dog training. The goal? To share her love with patients in waiting rooms and students at school. 💙

From barely surviving to finally thriving—Matt & Melanie are living proof of what love and care can do. 💙💗

Just weeks ago, these two were found in Rosharon, TX… emaciated, wounded, and starving. Mama Melanie weighed only 28 lbs full grown, and Matt just 35 lbs. Their frail bodies told the story of hardship no dog should ever face.

Now at about 2 years old, they’ve turned a corner. Matt has already gained 10 lbs in a month and is the sweetest little loverboy—lap dog at heart, playful with other pups, and even gentle with cats. He’s the kind of pup who greets everyone with a wiggly body and a kiss, determined to make friends wherever he goes.

Melanie is blossoming into a confident, cuddly girl who loves people and plays beautifully with dogs. She has the softest, soulful way of leaning in for affection, like she knows she’s finally safe and never wants to let go. She’ll need heartworm treatment, but with a safe place to land, she’ll continue to heal and thrive.

What they need now are foster or forever families willing to give them the stability and love they’ve fought so hard for. They’ve survived the worst—let’s give them the best next chapter.

Did you know we have so many cat-friendly pups waiting right now? All ready for forever or foster homes!

Houston friends—we’re two kennels over capacity at our clinic, and we need to open at least five more spots by next Monday. That means these sweethearts are stuck in boarding until a foster says “yes.”

Honey, Ariel, Quartz, Bambi, and Travis are all ready to leave boarding behind and stretch out in a home—even if just for a short time.
