Three Little Pitties Rescue Save Lives with Us! Our rescue saves dogs and cats from streets & shelters in the Houston area, finding them loving homes across the U.S. & Canada.

We adopt out with transport stops in WA, OR, UT, ID, OH, VA, CT, NY, VT, PA, TN, KY, IN, IL, WI & MN! The animals that come into our program are placed in foster homes or boarding, given time to decompress and receive proper medical treatment, then they are posted for adoption in northern states for families like you to adopt!

If you’re new here, we’re Three Little Pitties Rescue — a Texas-based dog and cat rescue saving the abandoned, overlooked, injured, and forgotten.

We pull from shelters, take in emergency medical cases, support fosters, and run lifesaving transports every two weeks to the PNW, Midwest, and East Coast.

But rescue has never been just about us.

It’s the fosters, volunteers, donors, transport teams, and every person who shares, comments, and believes in this work.

Every life saved is because a community chose not to look away.

A few weeks ago, we honestly weren’t sure Sweet Pea was going to make it.

She was found on a cattle farm in Cleveland, Texas, weak, scared, and so shut down. This little girl had every reason not to trust people… and watching her slowly realize she is safe has been one of those things that just hits your heart.

She’s now settling into her foster home, and y’all, she really does live up to her name. Sweet Pea is gentle, soft, and trying so hard. Every little step forward feels huge.

Someone from our community even made her a prayer blanket, and I don’t think they’ll ever know how much that meant. We are praying so hard that she keeps getting stronger, keeps healing, and keeps becoming the Sweet Pea she was always supposed to be.

She has come so far, but she still has a long road ahead.

Please keep donating and helping us cover her care. We truly could not keep saying yes to dogs like Sweet Pea without you.

One year ago today, Angel came into our care… and y’all, she had 99 problems and deserved absolutely none of them.

She was found abandoned in a Houston neighborhood, covered in blood, and in terrible shape. We don’t know her whole story, and honestly, we may never know what all this little Frenchie had been through.

But we do know this.

She came to us with a broken jaw, a previously broken front leg with a metal plate already in place, skin infections, allergies, breathing issues, and it was very clear she had recently had puppies before coming to us.

This girl had been through it.

Angel needed jaw surgery, BOAS surgery, a spay, skin and allergy care. It felt like every time we turned around, this tiny girl had something else stacked against her. But Angel? She just kept going.

And now, one year later, she is living the life we prayed for.
Her foster mom Colleen became the most epic foster fail, and now Angel is a locally adopted girl who spends her days full of love, snuggles, and bossing around her brother who she loves so much.

This is rescue.

It is messy and heartbreaking and expensive… but then you get to see a girl like Angel one year later, safe and loved, and it reminds you why we keep showing up.

Sometimes we move so fast in rescue that we forget to stop and look at what we’re actually accomplishing.

This video is sped up, but honestly, lately rescue feels a lot like this in real life.

The days move fast. Animals come through our doors needing help.

Clinic appointments fill up. Medical plans get made. Volunteers jump in wherever they’re needed. Transports leave. New intakes arrive.

And before we know it, another week has passed. It’s easy to get caught up in what’s next. The next emergency. The next transport. The next animal who needs us.

But today, we’re taking a minute to slow down.

To be thankful for our staff who show up every single day ready to fight for animals.

To be thankful for volunteers who give their time, fosters who open their homes, donors who make lifesaving care possible, and followers who share our posts and cheer these animals on.

To be thankful for a community that continues to believe every life is worth saving.

We may be the ones doing the work, but this mission belongs to all of us.

Every vaccine, every surgery, every transport, every second chance is possible because of people like you.

So before another busy week begins, thank you.

Every life that comes through these doors carries a little piece of this community with it. ❤️🐾

Seven boys came in today… and one tired mama who gave them everything she had.

Mama Journey came to us from the Cleveland, Texas area after a kind foster finder brought her inside before she gave birth. Because of that, she didn’t have to have her babies outside or somewhere unsafe. She got a quiet place to bring them into the world.

Sadly, one puppy didn’t make it. But Mama Journey has taken such good care of her 7 boys. And yes… every single baby is a BOY 💙💙💙

Right now, Mama Journey and her babies are temporarily resting in our Mutternity Suites so they can stay close to our clinic team and get what they need. A huge thank you to and for making these suites possible for families just like this one.

This mama is TIRED!!! Her body has done so much. Her ninnies are torn up from nursing. That’s why we are asking for fosters to step up next week! Fostering keeps babies out of boarding
