Save Lives with Us! Our rescue saves dogs and cats from streets & shelters in the Houston area, finding them loving homes across the U.S. & Canada.

We adopt out with transport stops in WA, OR, UT, ID, OH, VA, CT, NY, VT, PA, TN, KY, IN, IL, WI & MN! The animals that come into our program are placed in foster homes or boarding, given time to decompress and receive proper medical treatment, then they are posted for adoption in northern states for families like you to adopt!

Holiday cheer showed up early — and her name is Atlanta Peaches. 🎄
Big ears, a bigger heart, and the kind of joy that makes everyone around her smile, this sweet girl brought all the Christmas spirit during her doggy day out with volunteer Lisa. Tail wagging, ears bouncing, soaking up love from every person she met — Atlanta Peaches was absolutely in her element.

About 2 years old and 51 lbs, Atlanta Peaches is believed to be a pittie/cattle dog mix with a personality that’s pure sunshine. She loves people deeply and happily — people are truly her happy place. She’s affectionate, snuggly, and known to lean in close or gently nudge for more pets, making her a perfect companion for cozy winter days and quiet nights at home.

She does well around other dogs and prefers calm, respectful canine company. Once she’s comfortable, she’ll offer playful bows and lighthearted zoomies, but she’s not looking for nonstop roughhousing. She’d do well with a mellow male dog or would be just as content being the only pup, soaking up all the love. A cat-free home would be best.

Atlanta Peaches is smart, treat-motivated, crate and potty trained, and walks well on leash with gentle guidance. She enjoys outdoor adventures like walks and yard time, then settles in beautifully indoors for snuggles and downtime.

Just a few weeks ago, Timber was fighting to survive on the streets of Cleveland, TX — severely underweight, skin raw and inflamed, fur missing in patches, and his body completely worn down from trying to make it day to day. A dog our vet believed didn’t have much time left without intervention.

Three weeks into foster care, Timber is in a very different place. He’s safe, warm, and finally able to heal. He still has weight to gain, but he’s getting there. His skin is calmer, his fur is starting to grow back thanks to medicated baths, and his body is responding to consistent care and nutrition.

There’s still important medical care ahead, including major dental work, his neuter, and heartworm treatment — all part of giving him the healthy future he deserves.

None of this progress happens without foster homes willing to give dogs time, patience, and space to heal. And we’re especially grateful for this foster, who’s juggling a full house to make sure everyone is cared for.

Part 3 of yesterday’s pickup moments 🤍

Dogs and cats, all making the same journey — from Texas to the families who had been waiting, often for weeks, to finally meet them. First hellos, quiet tears, deep breaths, and that unmistakable feeling of relief when everyone realizes they’re safe and going home together.

These moments are why the work is hard and why it matters. Especially this time of year, when fresh starts mean everything. Endless gratitude for the fosters, volunteers, and transport crew who carried these animals to this moment.

He treats every single day like a party and you’re automatically on the VIP list. Sunshine-powered tail, long-leg runway walk, happy hops for days — someone call Dogue because this boy is serving supermodel energy.

He’s about 1 year old and ~54 lbs (best guess!) but what’s guaranteed? A life full of laughter, playtime, zoomies, and a dog who thinks every moment with you is straight-up magic.

Part 2 of today’s holiday pickups ✨

These were first meetings — strangers just hours ago, now families for life. After long journeys from Texas, these dogs and cats stepped off transport and straight into the arms of the people who’ve been waiting for them. The excitement, the nerves, the instant connection — it all happened in a moment.

Grateful for the fosters who loved them first, the volunteers who made the details happen, and the transport crew who delivered these holiday miracles mile after mile.

These are the moments that make the long days worth it 🤍

Leashes clipped. Carriers secured. Smiles everywhere. A few happy tears. After long journeys from Texas, these dogs were met today by the families who’ve been waiting for them — ready to start life together just in time for the holidays.

Endless thanks to the fosters who loved them first, the volunteers who kept everything moving, and the transport crew who carried them mile after mile. This kind of teamwork is what turns hope into home.

Over 1,500 free vaccines, flea prevention, and supplies given out — all in one day for New Caney’s pets. 🐾🙌

A few weeks ago, the Three Little Pitties Rescue outreach team spent a Sunday in New Caney with our friends at AABY’s Thrift Shop & Community Resources — and y’all, it was an incredible day for pets in the community! ❤️

Thanks to the support of , we administered 650 DHPP and 219 FVRCP vaccines for FREE. We also provided 530 Rabies vaccines and 200 Bordetella — keeping family pets safe, protected, and healthy.

Residents went home with FREE leashes, collars, flea prevention from , and education on heartworm prevention and responsible pet care.

A safer, healthier community for pets starts with access — and that Sunday was a huge step forward for New Caney’s animals! 🙌🐶🐱

Meet Buster Butters — softer than a crescent roll and sweeter than Christmas morning. 🎄✨

If you love a big boy with a big ole blocky head and those perfect, squishable face wrinkles… well, same. And I can promise we’re both thinking it: his eyes. Those golden-green, soulful, full-of-life eyes that stop you in your tracks. The kind of eyes people wish they could wrap up in a bow.

But this holiday hunk is so much more than his handsome looks. Buster Butters is pure joy — the definition of happy. He loves, loves, LOVES his people, is always down for an adventure, smart as a whip, and loyal right down to his peppermint-striped core. ❤️💚

Meet Kemah — the velvet-girl who refuses to do life alone. 🖤
She isn’t just affectionate… she’s the cat who chooses her person and never lets go.

Kemah is a full-body cuddle. She wants your chest, your shoulder, your lap, your arms — every single night. She sleeps with her people, leans into affection, and inhales love like it’s oxygen.

She’s also dog-friendly and totally confident about it — she’ll cozy up with cat-friendly dogs once she trusts the vibe. She’ll sprint for treats, wait politely in the kitchen like the little foodie she is… but she’ll tell you straight up: no other cats, please.

Her fight to get here? Brutal.
Kemah was found in a Houston colony with a massive open wound on her side — an infection that laughed at antibiotics. She spent ten long months in tiny onesies to keep it protected until a surgeon could finally remove it.

But through every bandage change, every setback, every moment she should’ve given up — she stayed sweet, social, and impossibly loving.

Now Kemah is healed. She’s pain-free. She’s finally ready.
Ready for warm hands. Soft blankets. Nightly cuddles. A human who wants to be chosen.

🖤 Kemah is the main character — she just needs her person.

UPDATE: For the past two weeks, Three Little Pitties Rescue has been forced to pause intake of new dogs & cats due to a sudden, unannounced change by Petfinder (owned by Nestlé Purina) that significantly reduced the visibility of our adoptable animals.

In animal rescue, two weeks is not a small delay — it is a crisis. When adoption flow slows or stops, animals back up in foster homes and shelters. Shelter capacity tightens. Street dogs are left with fewer options. Some partner shelters have already had to make heartbreaking decisions for animals we could have helped.

After two weeks of urgent outreach, we were finally able to speak directly with a decision-maker at Nestlé Purina. She acknowledged the seriousness of the issue & assured us that a fix is planned — though not until January. We are hopeful this commitment is honored, but the reality is that every day matters. While rescues wait, animals remain at risk.

Because of this, now is not the time to stand down. The collective outreach, advocacy, and social media support from our community has made a real impact & it must continue.

We will publicly share updates when the issue has been fully resolved & adoption visibility is restored. Until then, we are staying vigilant and focused on the animals who depend on us to speak for them.

In parallel, we are collaborating with other adoption platforms & rescue partners to strengthen long-distance adoption pathways. This experience has underscored an important lesson: no rescue can afford to rely on a single platform for lifesaving visibility.

Every transport night tells the same powerful story — hope on wheels.

Saved from the streets and shelters of Houston, these dogs and cats begin their journey surrounded by people who showed up for them at every step. Fosters who loved them first. Volunteers who made the night run smoothly. Adopters who said yes trusting us and our process. And Friendswood Methodist Church, whose parking lot becomes a place of possibility every two weeks.

The transport team drives straight through the night, stopping only to deliver precious cargo into waiting arms across the PNW, the Midwest, and the Northeast. Arrivals roll in Friday through Saturday — mile by mile, promise by promise.
