They say timing is everything but the timing on this one was rough. Last Saturday we said Goodbye to Dexter. Dexter was given to Garrett on his 14th birthday and he loved his kid more than anything. Dexter loved to catch a ride and be wherever his boys were. Known for his friendly wiggle and loud greeting of he was a huge part of WPH and much loved by all. ❤️

Breeding is not easy. This c**t had the cards stacked against him but with attentive mare owners and a great team behind him. He is healthy and strong. We lost one of our first mares yesterday morning. Cedar Bee Whiz (Whizzy) an own daughter of Topsail Whiz, she was a big start for us in the breeding game. I knew nothing about breeding when we started. She tolerated my mistakes and gave me opportunities to learn and grow that I will be forever grateful for. Whizzy was an amazing mom and would accept any baby in need within minutes. She was kind and sweet with a bit of sass and always loved extra grain. Thanks to my team and Colorado Equine for caring for her when I couldn’t. 25 great years she gave to us! ❤️
