OCSP Cat Rescue We are a volunteer-run organization that works tirelessly to find safe and happy homes and a for our kitties!

All of the work done to house and rehome our cats is done by unpaid volunteers. Even our officers ARE NOT PAID. They spend the majority of their evenings and weekend making sure the cats get to the vet as needed and to events to get adopted. Also they must be in contact with other rescues and our fosters constantly. Basically our devoted volunteers spend 8 to 20 hours PER WEEK to assist in our li

fe saving endeavors! Our unending expensives are covered solely through DONATION FROM THE PUBLIC and from our partnerships with Petco, the Petco Foundation, and other grant sources. We would shut down without the generosity of these sources. Donations can be cash or products like food, bedding, cat furniture and so on. We ALWAYS appreciate new volunteers and new fosters!

Our Story

OCSP Cat Rescue is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit, no-kill cat rescue focused on saving cats from high-kill shelters. We often have 40 or more wonderful cats just waiting for you to come give them a warm lap. We work hard to perfectly pair each cat and adopter so that everyone lives happily furrever after.

In 2017, we found 326 cats and kittens forever homes!

Search our available cats on Petfinder or come to an adoption event. Fill out an adoption application ahead of time to jump-start our simple, friendly and helpful adoption process. We welcome questions about our cats at any time - more info about your new companion is a quick email away!
