To allow time for a high standard of care for each individual patient, we are implementing pause – intervals in the intake of stable emergency patients. Your pet will be triaged and assigned a level of urgency based off clinical parameters and doctor assessment and unstable or critical patients will be prioritized. If your pet is suffering from a non-urgent issue, there will be extended wait times

during these intervals. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding and patience. Each VCA hospital has health and safety protocols in place based on health care best practices as well as state and local guidance and regulations.

Meet Ladybug! She is, a 7y Staffordshire Terrier, who came to VCA West Coast in May to see our Surgical Oncology Team for the removal of multiple Vulvar Mast Cell tumors. She underwent surgery and recovered nicely. Once healed, she saw our Medical Oncology Team and started a 12 weeks course of chemotherapy that included 8 chemotherapy treatments. Today Ladybug completed her course of chemotherapy and will be monitored closely for any new masses.
Her family couldn't be more thrilled with how well she is doing.
