📣Clinic Update📣

Hello Covington Vet Family! We wanted to let you all know of some changes coming in the next few months. As some of you may know our fearless leader Dr. Chobot has been dealing with some health issues related to a congenital heart valve defect. Over the last few months her symptoms have gotten worse and after a consultation with her doctor she is going to need to have surgery. Unfortunately, this means that Dr. Chobot will be out of the office for several months. As of right now she is still waiting to hear when the surgery will be scheduled but her doctor told her she needs to “take it easy”.

So what does this mean for you and your pet(s)🐱🐶:
First we will remain open during this time and always do our best to get your 4 legged friend taken care of.

Second, Dr. Chobot is still seeing patients on a limited basis until her surgery and we still have Dr. Betsy Miller here to see your furry friends.

Last, you will be seeing a new face around the clinic. Dr. Shea Rolf will be filling in for Dr. Chobot (more to come about him later). Over the last couple of weeks we all have had the chance to meet Dr. Rolf and some of you may have already met him too. He is a great fit here at CVH and we are confident that he will take exceptional care of your pets.

If you think that your cat is experiencing pain give our office a call and we will get you in for an evaluation by one of our doctors. 😺

You can use your cat’s facial expressions to better understand when your cat might be experiencing pain (and to what degree).
