A beautiful Kansas buck that was sent home today. The hunter wanted a personalized leather engraving on the back of this wall pedestal mount with his name, date of harvest, and the name he gave this deer.
Blessed to be able to work on these special animals and do what I love for a living! Thank you Lord!

I apologize to all of the new followers who are sent an automatic greeting message through Meta A.I. This is not me messaging you, as I would not want to reach out and bother each new person following the page. I'm glad to have you, but I am sorry for the spam messages from artifical "intelligence." As of right now, Meta has no way of turning off this new feature. Many other business pages are dealing with the same issue with no way of hitting an off switch. So it may continue until enough people send in conplaints, and I am reaching out to Meta to fix it, but seeing as any and all suppor offered is also bots, I doubt I'll get anywhere.

My reel on the albino otter got a lot of traction and plenty of internet experts watched the 40 second clip and deduced that this otter is leucistic and not albino. So here's some good photos of the specimen to show that it in fact, has no pigment whatsoever. It has pink eyes, pink claws, pink skin, and white fur. The "color" people think they're seeing is the mud and blood staining the fur, as well as oil in the fur from glands that otters rub themselves with to help keep their fur waterproof. That is what is causing that yellowish tint to this otter's fur.

This old buck certainly has the WOW factor! This is one of the wildest looking KS deer I've ever seen. I'm blessed to live and work in such a prime spot in the country for huge whitetails. They're an honor to work on. Thank you for choosing Tanner's Wildlife Artistry!
