She was surrendered with her best friend, but when they weren’t adopted together, Sprinkles was left still searching for her forever home. Yesterday, a kind Samaritans brought us a tiny kitten in desperate need of help. 💔 The kitten’s eyes were severely swollen and inflamed outside their skull, so we immediately called the emergency vet. This little one is now receiving the care they need, and we’re hoping for the best recovery possible. 🐾💙

Fort Morgan Humane Society Success Story!

“I had wanted to share some picture of Joplin, i got her from you guys a year and a half ago. I kept her name the same as you guys had given her and felt it was fitting for such a happy girl. She absolutely loves the mountains and gets so excited to go on new trails. She went to the sand dunes this last spring and loved them and on a hike to zapata falls This august she went to riffle falls and was upset that my daughter and i wouldnt let her get in the pools at the falls, but hiked to the tip with us. She is my adventure buddy.”

Barktober 2025 is coming this fall to Riverside Nature Trails, and we couldn’t be more excited! 🎉 This family & dog-friendly event will feature a 3.2-mile fun run/walk followed by a mini carnival full of games, activities, and community fun.

We’re currently looking for business sponsors and community partners to help make this event a success. Sponsorships start at just $100 and include recognition on banners, social media, and more — all while helping us raise funds to care for the animals at the Fort Morgan Humane Society. 🐶🐱

🐾☀️ Summer Project Update! ☀️🐾
Over the summer, some amazing volunteers helped us redo the play yard for our dogs — and it looks fantastic! 💙💛
✨ With donated tires, fresh paint (in yellow and blue — the colors dogs can see best!), and sand generously provided by Morgan Sand & Gravel, our dogs now have new vertical space and enrichment to enjoy. Plus, thanks to a generous donation of outdoor chairs, we now have comfy spots to sit and spend more quality time with the pups! 🐶🎨🏖️🪑
A huge THANK YOU to our incredible volunteers and community for making this possible! 💕🐾
